It is an absolutely gorgeous day out there. The sun is shining and there is a fresh, spring breeze blowing....and I'm sitting here at my desk, surrounded by bills and paperwork. *Sigh. Being a grown up is no fun.
What I should do is hook up my incredibly slow lap top and go sit on the porch, but that would take gumption and energy....both of which I am lacking today. So, I just ran around the house, opening a few windows. That's better. The birds are really singing today!
On a high note, the car sold yesterday and the neighbors gave us a check for the mailbox....WOOHOO!!!! Now we can get it fixed, and dh can stop complaining that it looks like a hillbilly box. Oh please....he's such a drama king. After depositing the money in the bank from the sale yesterday, he brings home a "boat trader" book. You would think he'd let the money sit for a while, before spending it....but noooooo. I would like to use it to put up a fence, put in a new a/c unit, and possibly get my computer cleaned up and upgraded. However, I doubt that will happen. Oh well....
My parents are supposed to come over later, but as I check my buddy list, I see that my mom is online. I guess I rank below aol....lol. Just kidding mom, if you are reading this! Dh has a business dinner tonight, so I won't see him till late. That's good....not that I won't see him, but that I won't have to cook. I just don't feel like it today. I think I'm coming down with a sinus infection. I think I caught the virus from mrscheesestix, who's kids have been sick for the past few weeks. I think she coughed on me while instant messaging. Gee, thanks Cheezy.
Well, I am off to fold the last of my laundry and then, ::dread::, put it away. I don't mind folding it, but I hate walking around the house, putting it away. I wonder why that is?

I despise putting away laundry! I tried giving my boys individual baskets for theirs--it was all neatly folded and ready to be put away, but was it? NO! It ended up under the bed, crammed in the closet, or worse. I gave up and just do it myself. Hope you get to feeling better! Love, Kim
I'm doing laundry as I type and I hate putting it away as well. I fold and stack the clothes on my kids' beds in hopes they will do it but of course they never do! It's a beautiful day here in GA too, I hope you can enjoy some of yours outside soon!
You were right, there is a laundry theme today! LOL OMGosh, your husband sounds just like Aaron. Money cannot just sit there or be used on house things. LOL I know for a fact that if we had extra money he'd have a boat trader in his hands too. Now that he's got his bike, that's what he wants next. Do husbands ever grow up? ~Melissa
Hope you're not getting sick--but when you say you don't feel like cooking, well, I think it's time to get the thermometer out! LOL Are you guys getting a boat? You will love it if you do!!! I cooked tonight and you didn't. Na na na na na....
Glad your weather was nice, we had rain here in Orlando with sun in and out. The wind was a itchbay on the hair but a nice change. I too hate putting clothes away. I usually stack them on the kids beds, then they put the pile on the floor and dress out of it, repeating the cycle until I get tired of it and put them away. UGH!
Hey Sherry! DO NOT under any circumstances let your husband buy a boat! Not unless you want a large lawn ornament like I have! Hurry, go spend the money!
I have to totally disagree with Life2Odd .. boats are sooooooo much fun! Of course it is a seasonal toy. But, you are in florida with plenty of lakes and warm weather. Though, I would go with a second hand boat as plenty are out there that have been used a s lawn ornaments.

A boat? I hear K-Mart is having a Martha Stewart Close out sale!!! That should take care of any "extra" money laying around hehehe Hugs Lanny
