Confidential....

"6:09 am, subject has not returned to scene of crime. Survellance has shown two adult suspects, roughly 45 years of age, arriving home approximately 7:45 pm, March 9, 2004. No signs of trouble. Blue van, nowhere in sight...."

*Heavy sigh. I've been up for an hour, worrying that someone is going to "get me" for reporting them. I know that nothing will come of this, because I was remembering last night that a few months ago, I got a call from a credit collection agency. Not for ME, but for our neighbors at *****. They asked if I knew this person, and his whereabouts. I knew who they were talking about, but I had no idea where he was....nor did I care to. So, if his parents are hiding him from creditors, I'm sure they will have "no knowledge" of any "mailbox" incident. Crap. Oh well. What cha gonna do?

Today is "sleep-over" day at my dd's school. They get to bring a pillow and blanket and stuffed animal, along with any books from home that they want to read. They will be able to read and relax all day, since their standardized testing is done. Dd is so excited about it. She packed her backpack FULL last night, and said to me, "Mom, I'm sure glad this thing has wheels!" LOL....Boy, wouldn't you love to return to the days where your biggest worry was which stuffed animal to take to school?

Waaahhhhh, I want a day that I can lay on a pillow and read!!! I think mother's should coordinate a day like this just for us! Wouldn't that be absolute HEAVEN?! Sorry to hear about your swarmy neighbor! I remember when we were having creditor problems and they called all my neighbors too. I don't think that's right at all! Talk about embarrassing! Hope you have a good day in sunny Jacksonville, FL!!
Hugs and love, Lisa

If someone called my house for the where abouts of a neighbor I would want their name and company address so I can find them and beat the crap out of them for calling me. I wish I could sleep in school I am soooooooooooooooooo tired!

Give it a rest Columbo...lol...Sorry you're worried--but see this is the thing that bugs me--you did NOTHING and you're worried some low-life scumbag is going to try to get you back. What's the world coming to???? And I've never heard of a collection agency calling to find out where a neighbor might be hiding (how weird is that???). My daughter had that Read all day thing last week and she loved it. Hope you have a good day.

Good Morning Sherry, and your last sentence says it all. Yea! And I think I sent your daughter an invite to my journal way back when...woopsie sorry. I'm freezing, enjoy your warmth. Your neighbors son scares me.

Alana finished her SAT 9's yesterday also, but they aren't doing anything like that. The best thing she got was no homework for the week, which is like a break for me too. Sounds like fun for your daughter. ~Melissa
