This is the kind of "welcome to the family" that my husband would love to print up and send out. Me? "Oh, yeah, we got a boat." He has been in the garage playing with his new toy since he brought it home. Our youngest has been out there with him, sitting in the driver's seat, pretending to steer. It's pretty cute. He's already talking about getting a top made for it....Martha, I can't say you didn't warn me! LOL....
Now, comes the daunting task of naming it. I am open to suggestions. The ones I like the most I will post in a few days and we can have a "boat vote"! How fun! So far my favorite is "John Buoy" since my hubby watched the Walton's as a kid....and his name is John....

You just totally crack me up! "John Buoy" ROFL!!! I'd have to name it something like FLO for Future Lawn Ornament! LOL! Enjoy it, they really ARE fun...when they're running. I tell my DFH I'm glad he loves his boat so much because he'll be sleeping on it if he puts another penny into it! :-)
Just had to come back and tell you...I liked the name FLO so much I'm naming ours that too but since ours is already a lawn ornament the F will have to stand for something other than future! Perfect!!! :-)

I think "Sherry" or "Sherrys smile" would be a perfect name for your boat.
And tell Betsy I think she is great too!

For some reason, I don't think you will need any help giving the boat a name! With your sense of humor, I am sure you will pick a perfect name! Congratulations on your new "addition"! Great play on words! I love that!!!!
