Saturday cleaning....

I ended up cleaning all day....we started by vacuuming the pool, then I decided to do an extra good job on the porch. I pine-sol'd the walls, vacuumed, powerwashed the furniture, moved things around....and of course replaced all the lawn ornaments. I have to say, the porch is sparkling clean and looks great.

Right now my parents are in the living room, watching tv with wee one, and Betsy just got out of the shower. I told her we "might" go to Sonic later for some ice cream. John is changing the oil in his truck, and running in and out of the house, telling me all about the people looking at our neighbor's house. He goes outside, takes a peek, then runs in here to give me the gossip....I swear....

I made an appointment for a cut and color on Tuesday. I really need to do something with this hair. I have blonde highlights that have grown out. You don't really notice them when I do my hair curly, but when I straighten it I look like crud. I don't like the blonde, as it seems to wash me out. I'm going to go as close to my natural color as I can get, with a little red thrown in to warm it up. Thursday is John's birthday and we are going to go out for the day, so I want to look good. I have no idea what to get him....although he will like anything I come up with.

Okay, I'm outta here for now....have a good one....

Whew! All your cleaning has made me exhausted!  Glad to hear the effects of the hurricane were minimal.  Orlando got it pretty good and I'm glad we weren't there.  Enjoy the weekend~

WOW I wish I had done that. We went ot a party and I wish well it was one of those parties that you wish you have come late to and only spent 2 hours there not four. I am just bushed. It was  nice I just was not in the mood for it. Not feeling social today. I could have done so much more by cleaning around the house. Its beautiful weather for that here. Not our normal hot august temps at all> Lori

I just bought the new SpicNSpan all purpose cleaner..the one that says, "it's not just for floors anymore" It was blue not orange. Well, It smells great at first and then the smell does go away so it's not so strong. IT cleans unbelievably. I think you should give it a try. It smell so much better then pinesol..god do i hate pinesol. You straighten your hair? Take a pic when you do that, I'd love to see. I really think the curly flatters your pretty face so well though.

I never really know what to get Aaron for his birthday either, because he wants everything.
I bet your hair will look great.  I love going in for a change from the normal.
I saw your pics from Charley.  It looks like you guys got more rain than we did.  It looks like it was coming down good over you.  So happy everyone from the journals missed it. ~Melissa
