No mail?

Lightbulb BrokenIt seems as though my alerts are not working today, which of course means....I have no e-mail. Well, I did have some e-mail, but I am not in need of a loan, and I do not have the appropriate appendage needed for "natural enhancement"....

I have got to get to my painting today. I didn't do any of it yesterday, since I had my hair appointment. I was going to put pictures up, however, my darling Betsy used all four sets of rechargeable batteries, yet can not seem to recharge them after draining them. She throws them into the drawer, and I suppose hopes that the "battery fairies" will come along and magically charge them with a touch of their wands....how hard is it to put them into their little grooves and plug the thing in? Of course, if she needs them right away, she can figure it out....perhaps she has short term memory loss....or, perhaps the music she is listening to is slowly rotting her brain. That is the most likely scenerio. I can listen to that, excuse me, CRAP for about one minute before I go completely insane. How do these kids listen to an entire cd of nothing but screaming with the occasional word thrown in? And these "artists" (I am using the term oh so lightly here), are actually paid for this. I could make my own cd of screaming and make millions....

Track 1: "Who Walked on My Carpet?"
Track 2: "Squish My Fluffed Pillows and Die"
Track 3: "Feed the Dog (Doggie gettin thin)"
Track 4: "Separate the Laundry" (feat. Snuggle the Bear)

Anyhoo, I made italian sausage with fried potatoes and onions last night. It was good....but my house still smells like it this morning. I have lit my Yankee candle, hoping to rid the house of the smell....but now I have a kitchen that smells like raspberries and sausage. Not a good combo. I wish I had a coffee maker....I'd brew a pot just to get rid of the odor. I had to pitch mine, and still haven't gotten a new one. It's driving me nuts. Not that I'm a coffee freak, but I do love the smell of a fresh pot. Makes me think of my childhood, and restaurants, and cozy mornings....

Well, I'm off to do my morning chores. Have a good one....

Darn Betsy and those batteries!  Was hoping for a pic on your hair.  I'm sure it looks lovely.  Enjoy the painting, better you than me.  That's something I am not ready to get into yet, although I will have to do it eventually.  Just trying to put it off as long as possible.  Enjoy the day and hope you rid the kitchen of the smell. Lemon Pine-sol, maybe? ;)

My alerts weren't working, either! It was making me angry! LOL!  I'm new to your journal, but I love it:)  I just recently went public, with mine, after having a private one, so if you have a sec, feel free to check it out:)

Oh, and the screamining music?  It will go away after she goes to college, and starts hearing a huge variety of things!  I promise! I was the SAME way! LOL!

Oh Mom, and to think what your mother thinks of your music.  You see, it's called the new generation and once you get pasted at least 30...your music taste is basically dead.  haha  Believe me, I won't like the music my children listen to, it's just the way it works.  I would buy your CD and laugh..your instruments would be the vacuum, pledge, and mop, ohh I could see it now.  haha "Squish my fluffed PILLOWS AND DIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEE" HAHA
