My day of painting....

If this chick had red hair....she'd be me. That is the color of the 3 ft. stripe in wee one's room. I just finished everything in there....painting is done, things are back on the walls....of course there are other little things that need to be done, but that will have to wait until tomorrow....I'm bushed! However, it looks great. She is going to be so excited when she comes home tomorrow morning. Heck, I'm excited! I'll post pics tomorrow, as tonight, I'm having trouble typing from my paint cramped hands....

Betsy's room is all painted too. John worked all day in there, double coating the three remaining walls. It's gorgeous! Betsy worked on the trim and the door. I can't wait to get things put back together completely. All I have left to do now, paint wise, is to re-do the girls bathroom. Then I can sell the house, and start over in a new one! LOL....

Man, I am exhausted....I've been up since 7 am, and have been working since then. Oh wait, no, I did get a break to go pick up wee one from her first sleep over, take her to the store to pick up a gift for her second, take Betsy's friend home, and drop wee one off at the next party. I also made dinner....however it was just hot dogs. One of those, "take it or leave it but make a comment and I'll kick your butt" dinners. John didn't even balk at having to chop his own onion....

Okay, I've got lots of primping to do before the big ball....that is, if I don't fall asleep first!

I am sure whatever you did came out beautifully!  You seem to have that "magic" in whatever you touch it looks just like it came from the pages of Martha Stewarts Living or Better Homes and Gardens.  Can't wait to see!!!!!  And, there's nothign wrong with hot dogs once and awhile!  :)
Hugs and love, Lisa
P.S.:  Hurry up to the ball, it's in full swing!  They just played "Baby Got Back" and it got everyone on the dance floor!

Sherry, you really are inspirational.  You do so much ... I wonder if I can get myself motivated so I can paint our living room.  UGH, I usually avoid the issue by taking off then I don't have to look at it and remember it NEEDS to be done.

BTW ~ red hair looks good on you. :-)

I cant wait to see the pics. I hate painting because it takes so long. I can only do it in short stints because of asthma. So, when you visit and we go buy our lipstick, bring your paintbrushes with you, lol ;) I will supply the ear plugs!.........Jules xx

My house needs a painting, I wish I had the enthusiasm to do it though...that's what I like about you, you get things done...I think about it and want or need it done but it never gets done.
