Primping and obsession....

As you can see from the above picture, I'm killing some time while the birthday boy primps for our morning date. He got mad when I took the pic, and I told him I deleted it....oops....looks like I may have fibbed a bit! However, now I have proof that I'm not the only one who spends time in front of the mirror, making others wait! I'm still not sure where we are going for breakfast, as it is his choice. It's between our favorite little St. Augustine spot, and Cracker Barrel. Hmmmmm, somehow I think he will pick down home country cookin' over a dainty French pastry....

Now, as for the second pic....as you know, I suffer from OCD. I'm on medication, I have it under control, but sometimes little things pop up that I have a hard time with....this happens to be one of them. One day I was rinsing out a tea container and I absentmindedly threw the lid in the drawer....fast forward six months and my drawer overfloweth. I can't seem to bring myself to throw them away. Every time someone opens the drawer they ask when I will be tossing them out....I know there has to be some sort of crafty thing I can do with them. And you thought I was strange before this little nugget of info....

Ahhhh, I hear the shower turning off so perhaps I can get in there and get ready before lunch. Here's hoping....I'll report back on our morning meal....

That's funny.....My hubby likes for me to do the gel in his hair..."Our little time" is so enjoyable for some reason....

And set a date and get rid of the tops...either find a craft for them or dump them...That would help to control your OCD, possibly, but I don't know a lot about it myself..

Have a great breakfast!!

I still havent figured out what those things in that drawer are. But I got a great idea! Put them in a box and send them to me, I'm sure we can use them as a craft in school somehow. And if not, they are still out of your house! I just cant believe you saved all of those!

Happy Birthday to your hubby!  Hope you had a great brunch.  Just watch the teacher will send home a note that she wants lids for a school project and you will be so prepared!

I can't make those things out..but Im sitting here with brianna next to me and she said, "OH TOYS I WANT HAT." She means "that" If she had her hands on your kitchen, you'd get rid of those things because five times a day she would dump that entire draw and spread it all over your house. That would definitly end the obsession to save them. Anyway...why not glue them to picture frames for photo album covers?

Funny how in all these months I've never asked what they were for or why you were keeping them, I personally like them, I don't know what I'd do if they weren't there.  haha  You'll get me hooked when I move out, saving all the lids then I can show all my journal buddies how crazy I am.  Like mother like daughter.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!!  ^_^

Ok, Sherry with the caps...please...why not donate them to a school or something.  They could use them in kindergarten as a counting tool.  I expect that drawer to be cleaned out asap or else!  And poor hubby.  Is this your happy birthday to him????
