Pictures!!!!

This morning my darling dh took me to St. Augustine for breakfast and a stroll around town. I played tourist and took some pictures. I posted other things too, as my ygp is finally up and running again!

Not much going on at the moment. I feel like I could take a nap right about now. I stayed up late last night finishing some sewing, and went to bed around 11:30. DH came home around midnight and I don't remember what time he got to bed. After our breakfast we ran to the grocery store for a few things....I don't know which is worse, taking my kids grocery shopping, or my husband. "OOooooh, I haven't had that in a while....wait, I want some of this!....why can't we get those?" Sheesh! Remind me not to take him anymore. I bought wee one some lemon italian ice and he makes a pouty face and says, "Who is that for? I don't like that...." Well, Mr. Hog, it is not for you....and because he was whiny, I did not get him a treat....lol. That'll teach him!

Well, it's time for me to get started on my ever-growing pile of ironing. Have a lovely afternoon everyone....

Hahaha If you run out of Ironing, I have a few items that could use a good press. Sounds like you had a fun day with o' hubby anyway :-)  Hugs Lanny

My husband does the same thing with food.  He'll go "I don't like that" like just because HE doesn't like it no one else can.  Yea, right.  Your pictures are beautiful.  When I see palm trees, I miss Florida so much...

LOL.....I have the same problem here!  The hubby and kids play tug-o-war over who gets what.  I learned along time ago to leave SW at home, or we have a huge pile of rubish in the cart, and we spend way toooo much!  Oh how I wish I could live by the beach!  Once a year just doesn't cut it!  Anyway, I'm off to picking up massive piles that have formed all over the house! My kids only have one full day of school left, and two half days, so I have lots to do.

I'm seriously thinking about moving to Florida.  I'm so jealous... to have the ocean whenever you want... who could ask for anything more?  I could move easily and find a job, it's Mike that would be uprooted.  He works for Delphi-Delco, and I think it's hard to get a transfer to Jacksonville.

Great Pics!

Great pics, and yes...I remember the Buckman Bridge!  I also remember the spot you have from St. Augustine looking out to the water.  I would much rather live back in Jacksonville, than here in Orlando.  Darn...I need to make a trip up there!

I loved your pictures Sherry...I would really love to live near the ocean.  I'm always so happy when I'm there.  I try to stay out of the store with my husband.  He tries to micromanage the entire event.  We SAHM's know what we want from the store and can pick it up in record time.  Out of my way Buster...you're slowing me down!

The area you live in looks absolutely fabulous!  Your family sounds like a happy group of people.  I think you'd be a great bunch to have a cookout with. :)

Great pics! Good thing cameras have zoom on them! I feel very fortunate myself to live about 20 minutes from the ocean. Its wonderful out here and I love every minute of it. St. Augustine is such a pretty place.
lol don't get me started about grocery shopping with hubby's! Mine was in awe after not seeing a grocery store in a year, talk about a long experience that time.

Beautiful!  How fun to have a vacation at home.  I had a similar picture entry a couple of weeks ago, did you see it?  Check out the CA town of Laguna Beach, I'm guessing it's similar to ST. Augustine.

My first question is who was driing when you took the pictures of the marina and the bridge?  I mean talking on the tele is dangerous enough.  I enjoyed the pictures very much, and am glad that you love St. Augustine!!  Fudgie

omg that snake is scary and disgusting! Thats in your back yard? OMG! The scariest thing in my yard is a squirrel. LOL I don't think I could hack living in any other state. I am so spoiled here. No mean bugs besides bees...no snakes....no aligators....no friendly racoon families only the kind that hide in trees and only come out at 2am on garbage night. I am a chicken sh*t but anyway...wow you do live in a beautiful beautiful place...so I suppose that is a nice trade off. I LOVE THAT YOUR PRETTY LITTLE WEE ONE BOUGHT THAT SHIRT WITH HER OWN MONEY WHAT A MATURE THING FOR HER TO DO....WOW.  I hope my big one comes across this entry. LOL
