Then I talked to a gal from the bus stop who is having a bit of marital trouble. She doesn't get any intamacy from her husband, he is adhd as well as their three boys. Her life is so messed up. She goes to counseling and tells me she has two choices; stick with him and be miserable but have happy kids, or leave and try to make it on her own with three adhd kids. She has a husband, but not a partner. She needs to feel loved and appreciated and cared for, but gets none of that. She is in constant turmoil, her life is like a snowglobe that is always being shaken.
I called my dh and told him I'd love to go to lunch with him.

Good choice, I would change my plans for lunch with hubby most anyday. We all complain and rightfully so at times. I love my husband dearly, he's my partner in life and I enjoy those lunches with him when there's time.
Good choice! I would change my plans in a heartbeat to have lunch with Sonny. I feel like I was the other woman you mentioned. I felt that way about my ex ... he was my husband by paper but he was NOT a partner.

Yep....even when we think we got it bad..somebody has it worse. Very sad...I'm glad your going sherry...would love my hub to call me up for lunch if he worked close enough for me to meet him! Would love for him to even sit at the table and eat with me during lunch. I hope you give him a big fat kiss!
I think that's sweet that your hubby wants to eat lunch with you! You are very fortunate, as you know from your conversation with this woman at the bus stop, to have a husband that actually WANTS to spend time with you! I hope you dolled yourself all up and had a good time!
