1. After a day of cleaning (yes, that included toilets), laundry (physical contact with pre and post washed underwear), and sewing, dh comes home with:
a. roses
b. diamonds
c. an attitude
2. Sitting at the dinner table, he regales me with tales of:
a. his undying love for me
b. where he would like to take me for a night of romance
c. how he had to sit in traffic for a half hour, only to have to make a u-turn because someone had an accident probably because no one knows how to drive and/or use turn signals in this state.
3. My weekend plans will include which of the following:
a. a night of dinner and dancing
b. a night at the beach, walking hand in hand along the moonlit shore
c. a night of listening to the What-A-Burgers we had for dinner repeat themselves loudly in the general vicinity of my husband.
If my hunch is correct, I think those who have been married over 7.5 years will have the highest scores.
As for the weekend, I don't know what the plans are. Dh votes for boating, the oldest wants to sit in her room and brood, wee one wants a friend over, and I want....well....I'm not sure. I don't usually think about what I want. Well, I think about it, but I don't usually get it....although I think dh is getting me what I really want for Mother's day.

haha...i absolutely LOVE your journal, being a 'stay at home mom' doesnt sound bad at all...or maybe you just have and wonderful personality for it....I, however am very new at this stay at home mom thing, i am only 20 and stay home with my 3 month old baby boy now..my days go about like yours on occasion, just some minor details are different..you can come view my journal sometime, its been a little depressing lately, but youre welcome if you want.....i just wanted to comment on your wonderful journal..it brightned up my mood...thanx, pattyG

Woo-hoo! Van Halen WITH Sammy Hagar again! What more can you ask for?!?! David Lee Roth -- NAH, Sammy is just as good if not better AND he has a full head of hair! We have the bald guys at home, don't need to see them on stage right?! I wish my hubby would get me something like this, not to Van Halen naturally, but you know who. And, seeing I have been married 13 years in August, my guess would be (c) to questions 1-3! And, can you please explain what exactly a "date night" is? Does it have something to do with figs? Hi, What a sweetheart you are! I've been keeping a blog/journal on Live Journal for years now. I've also been on AOL for years and years but I never knew we had a journal feature available to us.
Anyway I obviously found you because you're featured and I'm always fascinated by journals. I'm a stay at home Mom too, only in my case, the hubby ran off with a stripper, I have a boyfriend but he's just too overworked, checked out, and into his music career to really be available for us. He tries but it gets so lonely sometimes.
My journal has been such a blessing, I've made so many friends there and I love being able to just let it all hang out. Although unlike here on AOL in Live Journal land I feel free to swear and post vintage risque postcards, things I think they might censor here.
I so relate to the need to clean out and organize and how easy it is for things to build up to the point where they just feel totally overwhelming, closests, pantries, kids bedrooms, my car, it never ends.
