Taking a break....

I've been cleaning since 8:30 and now I'm taking a break. It was one of those mornings when I started in my bedroom, and then decided to dust everything including what is on the walls, candles, I even soaked the rosehips since they were looking a little dusty. Now the door is closed and it's the only completely clean room. I finished the girls rooms, and their bathroom down to the floor....but I'm contemplating giving the dog a bath, which means there is no need to mop yet. I also knocked a glass into the sink and it completely shattered all over. There was glass on the floor, counters, and still in both sections of the sink. I don't know how it happened. It was almost as if it threw itself off the dish drainer....goodbye cruel world!

I want to get the rest of my fall decorations out, but that will take forever, deciding what goes where. I am trying to be more organized this year. When I begin decorating, whatever doesn't go up, gets pitched. I need to conquer my clutter, and get down to only what I need. I've been doing rather well getting rid of things. I want to declutter the washer/dryer area today.

I'm thinking I'll make chicken soup for dinner, as Kara's entry yesterday made me crave it. maybe I'll even make the bisquick dumplings....everyone loves those! After mentioning the Pepperidge Farm cake we had for dinner the other night, so many people said how much they liked them! I defrosted the chocolate chunk cake, and it wasn't very good. The icing was okay, but the cake part was so bland. I haven't tried the coconut one, which seems to be the favorite among PF devotees.

The kids went back to school today. PRAISE THE LORD!!!! They were driving me crazy! Actually, they wanted to go back....apparently I'm not as fun as they thought. *Sigh.

Okay, my 15 minute break is over, and I must continue slaving away. I still haven't decided weather or not to wash the dog. I'm at about 20% yes, 80% no right now. Guess he will have to spend one more day dirty....

omggggg you are making everyone look bad. Will you freakin stop. LOL no kidding. I admire your cleaning attitude so much and I strive to become like you....someday I hope to. Someday. I just had a bowl of chicken soup..which went against my normal "omg im gonna barf its 3 days old" instincts. But damn it was freakin' delicious. I want more. How is it possible that you are not done decorating? OMG! I wanna come over and sit on your couch and watch you get down too it..maybe I can learn something. You should give classes.

I usually end up wetter than the dog when I bath him, he manages to shake all over me. You sound like you have been busy, slow down girl, you dont want to burn yourself out and be poorly again ;)    Take care ........Jules xxx

YOu are a cleaning fiend!  Your dog looks like he sits nicely for a bath.  Mine is trying to jump out of the sink and run and then goes crazy playing tug with the towel afterwards.

I love the pictures of your dog and the captions.  Now, can I send Toby over for a bath?  :-P

I tried that on my last day off - completely clean one room then shutting that door. BUT, with Toby and Sonny it didn't stay clean, heavy, heavy sigh.
