Today I have to pick Betsy up at school for her referrral appointment at the regular doctor. I'm picking her up during lunch, which means I'll have to walk on campus, in the middle of lunchtime. This means I will be milling about in a sea of teenagers....ahhh! She promised me she would be on the lookout for me....and she better be. Of course, I could stand there and yell for her....oh man, wouldn't that be funny? She would be absolutely mortified....lol.
Being that this is the last weekend before dh starts school, we were planning a trip to GA....however hurricane Jean seems to be putting a kink in our plans. I'll have to wait till tomorrow to find out what her true path will be, although it looks like we won't escape this one. I'm telling ya, I've about had it with freaking hurricanes. Dh did wire the house so that if we lose power, we can run everything except the air conditioning off the generator....including the computer! WooHoo Homer Simpson style! LOL....the girls will be glad to know this.
I don't know what to make for dinner. I made absolutely ZERO last night. Dh had leftover soup, I don't know what Betsy had, though I heard her microwaving something, and wee one went to church with her friend which meant a stop at Burger King. So....that means tonight I have to actually cook something to make up for my "laziness"....lol. I think we will have lasagna. That is something easy and only one pan to clean up. Yeah, sounds good.
Oh! I forgot....wee one found a scorpion by our front door last night. He was a little one, about 3 inches long, but scary none-the-less. I took a pic of him....I should post it, but I'm done writing and too lazy to do it. Hey, at least I'm honest....

Trip to GA? That sounds like fun if I have to say so myself :) I am sooo tired of the hurricanes also and know they have made the alphabet all the way to L! They did say that Jeanne could be here this weekend, ugh!
I was lazy last night as well, I went and picked up Zaxby's. We were all wiped out. so tonight I will be cooking too :)
yuck a cold and a scorpion. ugh!!!!!! I dont know when these hurricnaes are going ot end. These just keep coming but wow to have computer service thats wonderful. Gotta keep that going for sure. :>} Oh I hope you feel better soon. Lori

omg let me show you the pic I took last night. I will email toyou. How odd. It's not a scorpian, <I don't think> but it's a big ass spider! How is lasagna easy? That has got to be the most diffucult thing to make. LOL I Hate walking in the HS. Last year when I was skinny. The hall monitor mom yelled at me for walking the halls. She told me "get back to class!" That would never happen now. waaaaaahaaaaaaa. Feel better and I hope the appt goes well.

Oh No!! I sure hope your feeling better soon! Josh's school has got a bunch of bugs going around...I think he likes it cuz he class is a lot smaller! (hee-hee)
Man, lasagna!! And here I was thinking about the dinner menu for tonight and came up with Mac and Cheese...and from the box!! LOL

I really hope you feel much much better! Being sick is the pits. I just got over a cold, how? I dont know, I think it was a miracle. Anyway, I have a feeling that that hurricane isnt going to ruin your plans. If it does then Ill have to write the 5 most embarassing things about myself in my journal and I dont want to do that, since they truely are EMBARASSING! lol. The flu is going around here in CT too, no fun at all. Especially when Momma has it!! I think you should show up to pick Bets up in your pink fuzzy slippers and robe personally. That will make SURE she finds you right away next time. Hee-hee! And, can I borrow that hubby of yours to come and wire a simple vanity in my bathroom? It's only been sitting in my basement for over a year! I won't let my hubby touch the wires even though he told me he "can do it". Don't need him getting eletrocuted!! :)

Yep, we spent night at ER with Nick's 102.4 degree fever and sore throat sleeping on and off together on this tiny little hospital bed and my sore throat didn't even get looked at though. They took us by ambulance as I didn't want to strand hubby and my other two children from getting to work and school... didn't know how long we'd be there. It must be goin' around...
I feel ya about that hurricane thing! Only a few more months to go... :-/ Since it IS coming and there's nothing I can do about it... I'm hoping that school is cancelled on Tuesday and Wednesday! I wouldn't mind a bit if that paper that I haven't written on that book that I haven't read and that exam that I haven't studied for were cancelled! Stay safe :)
