Betsy has a new bus driver....and this one actually comes at the time he says he will be there. No more waiting anywhere from 5-25 minutes. He is there when he says....which means that for the past few days only Betsy and one other girl have gotten there in time to actually catch the bus! (see? my obsession for being early actually pays off!)
Anyway, yesterday morning I took her, she got on the bus and I went home. As I was driving down our street, the "weird mom" pulls out of her driveway at about 50mph and almost hits me! I slam on the breaks (mind you I'm about 25 feet from her drive when she decides to pull out) and give the "don't worry it's early" smile, to which she completely ignores and speeds off. Okaaaay. Now, this is the woman who will keep me for a half an hour talking about her problems even though I don't know her that well.....personal problems....::shudder::. So, this morning, I just pull up to the bus stop and the bus is right there. Betsy gets on and I head home. When I turn down the street I can see she is in the driveway because her son was walking to the car. I decide I'll be a nice neighbor and let her know they missed the bus. I get within 25 feet and what does this crazy b**** do? Hits the accelerator and pulls out in front of me! This time I slam on the breaks and STARE at her like WTF? She won't even look at me, so I happily let her go, and watch her turn toward the bus stop. Let her sit there for 20 minutes....see if I care! (See? I'm not as sweet and nice as you all thought I was! LOL.)
*Gross alert: There is something wrong with my dog, as he spent yesterday puking....ewwwww. However, you can tell he has an owner who is cleaning obsessive. He "set his breakfast free" in the bathroom....however I didn't know it. I saw him running to the porch, where he finished his purging. So at least he missed the carpet. Later in the day, he was back in my bathroom, trying to get into the bathtub. I thought that was odd and shooed him out. Well, immediately he ran to the porch....unfortunately before I could let him out....and purged again. He knew he was going to be sick, so he tried to hit the bathtub! What a good dog I have! Anyway, so far this morning he is doing good. I think it's from being on antibiotics for the past three weeks. His stomach is weak as it is, and those do not help. He's here right now looking at me....I wonder what that means! LOL.
Wee one said that her invention was a hit....and the teacher was impressed! I am glad for her. She was a little worried about it. My kids only have 36 (give or take a few) days left of school, minus weekends. Where did the year go? It's amazing how time flies.
Okay, I've got to get things done around here. It's going to be 80 today....hmmmm, maybe I'll chuck it all and just go to the beach! Yeah....that sounds like a plan!

WTG Haley! Poor Percy....awe. That dog is so cute and sweet, it must break your heart when he gets sick or has a seizure. If all that happened to me I would have let that women wait at the busstop too. She could have hit you!!!!!!!!!!!
What a crazy neighbor, and kinda scary too. . . Too bad the super sweet smile didn't work the first day. . . Maybe waiting forever at the busstop will. . . I get freaked out by things of that nature. I always think someone is gonna 'snap.' Great going on the 'invention' that would be a tough one. Here in fourth grade they do either a volcano, solar system, or something else, (I forget now. . . sorry!)
poor doggie. I sure hope he recovers. My pooch is here with me too, always! Have fun at the beach, and oh,yeah, if you don't mind, can you update about the new vacuum. I would love to know how it works for you. . . Take care, Cya, Kris
Just blowing through to get a break from taxes! I wish I'd done them a long time ago! Such a procrastinator I am! It's a good thing you are early on the bus stop thing! I dread taking the kids to the stop by vehicle... they don't really want me there... well the little one does and the other doesn't but I'm such a grump I've just been trying to make a nice breakfast in the morning and help shoo them out the door with plenty of time to play football before the bus arrives. I would be upset too about the weird neighbor and her driving habits and telling you all her personal problems. Ok, well take care and have a great day!
Lisa
What an idiot neighbor you have!! I'd still take her over the "Ken and Barbie's" I have in my neighborhood though! Who would have ever thought living on a cul-de-sac would be oh so much fun? NOT! Glad the bus is arriving when it should, but just so you know, my kids would always miss it because I am ALWAYS late for EVERYTHING, which is the reason I drive them to school! LOL! Sorry to hear about Percy being sick! But, what a good doggy to try to get to a spot that wouldn't require the most cleaning! He is your dog for sure! :)
Hugs and love, Lisa
Sorry to hear about your doggy being sick. What a smart dog though to try to go to the bathroom! Yeah WTF is wrong with your neighbor? I say give her the one digit salute if it happens again. Glad Becky's invention was a smash!
Big O.
I would've let the neighbor sit myself! I'm also not so nice at times. :-P Sorry to hear about the dog. My puppy started doing his little "I'm about ready to vomit" one morning right in my face - I was in bed still. Trust me I was up faster than a lightening flash and he was OUTSIDE! As for the on time bus driver - woo hoo, I remember waiting an eternity at times for them to show up.

Have not been here sorry I can not post a entry my journal linkits on the fritz, your entry is cute and descrpitive ah poor pouch take em to the vet. saying hello
we have old people pull out in front of us in their little motorised scooter thingies. They then go down the middle of the road so you cant pass them. I am usually patient and give way to them but most of them are grumpy old gits who just expect it and glare as they obstruct you. I know how you felt when your neighbour pulled out in front of you. I have decided I am going to be one of the grumpy old gits on a motorised scooter when the time comes though, lolol........Jules xxxxx
