****Gross Alert****
When I picked up Percy at the dog place, I noticed he was shaking his head. He usually only does this when he has an ear infection and he was on antibiotics so I didn't think anything of it....until he kept us up all night shaking and scratching his ears. Well, this morning I looked at them and boy oh boy....they were full of green puss. I know, gross....but I did warn you. Anyway....I'm thinking he swam and the water didn't drain from his ears which caused an infection. But still....shouldn't someone have noticed when giving him his "exit bath" (his ears were sticky!!!!)? Which brings me to my next quandry....I don't think he got an exit bath. I am not sure if I'm going to be charged with it since I picked him up and the computers weren't working; so they are going to bill me. However, I do believe I will question them. I mean, for $220+ I should have picked up a clean, puss-free dog....don't you think?
Okay, on to cleaner things....
Wee one spent the day running through sprinklers with friends. I can't believe it's already that season! It is very apparent, however, that she is going to need a new suit this year. Let's just say, the flowers are not the only things that have begun to bud....lol. My little girl is growing up. *sigh.
I am determined to get all closets cleaned out this week, since the girls are on spring break. Betsy just finished going through her clothes and we have the "toss" pile and the "wee one" piles. I have two bags full of "good will" items, and many more to come. I have a feeling when I take everything out of wee one's closet that doesn't fit, there will be very little left. I also have to do my own....which is going to be depressing. I keep hoping I'll fit into those few things I hang on to for "when I'm skinny again"....but I don't think I'm ever going to get there. LOL....that's okay though. I'm happy with myself. For now. Just don't ask me how I feel when I have to go shopping for a bathing suit.
And on that note, I need to go serve the strawberry shortcake I made for dessert....

yum strawberry short cake can I come????????// I hate cleaning closets and we do it far too often. Im sure hubby willl mess up its a mans nautre to do that lOL I sure hope they dont charger you for percy. I would not be happy. Are you going to take him to the vet. I bet he does feel just aweful. POOR POOR Puppy. Man I wish we could think of sprinklers. Yup shes getting that age I bet you really miss your little girl. I so wish mine wer elittle Lori

Must be nice to run thru a sprinkler when us cold folks up here are still in sweat shirts and winter jackets!! Enjoy that beautiful warm weather for me!!! LOL

My girls are growing up also. It's very bittersweet. Unfortunately they are very different body types so Kath doesn't fit into Laura's clothes too well. Bummer. We went clothes shopping this weekend and the girls were so happy.
Welcome home Sherry! Sorry I missed your entries I haven't even been online. Just a second here and there. My sons has been monopolizing my cable wire. I would definitly bitch and get money off on that bill. I missed ya. When I was on I kept checking while you were away.
LOL bout the hubby screwing up soon. He loves ya though..he does so much! How could he not love you?

I think I would be calling up that doggie place to make sure they didn't charge you for that. Hope his ear gets to feeling better soon!
I'm glad you all are having nice weather for spring break. My kids had spring break last week, a tad early if you ask me, and it was cold and rained the entire time. Well except for the weekend of course!
ugh that reminds me I need to go through my kids' closets too. Its easier when they are at school,lol

Love how you went from swimsuits right into the serving strawberry shortcake! Too funny! I admit I still have my size 5 Levi's just awaiting the time I will fit into them again which will be like NEVER! Poor Percy!! I would definately make it a point to call that doggie daycare and find out what the heck happened!

Hi Sherry! OMgosh our kids are growing up soooooooo fast! I just can't give up my skinny clothes. I will do this. I will get skinny again, very soon. I am so tired of not making my workout my priority and it makes me too upset. I must get a handle on it. That's about it... other than I'm taking new name suggestions for our new cat at my journal and haven't had one little itty bitty chance to help Nick with a new journal entry or anything. Soon I hope. It's been a busy Spring Break and I am so NOT ready for Easter but I did buy my ham.
