Weekend re-cap....

As you can see from the above pics, wee one looked just fine, even if she didn't have a poodle skirt for the sock hop. She ended up liking the outfit, especially the scarf. They had a blast at the party....she said they had a DJ, did the chicken dance, had root beer floats....

On Saturday she went to a birthday party for a little boy in her class. On the way to the party she was decorating the envelope of the card with little hearts. I asked her why she was putting hearts on it and she just smiled and turned red....apparently she likes him. You know, she doesn't just like him, but likes him-likes him. LOL....that party was a hit as well. They got to play mini golf and ride the go-carts. She was tall enough that she didn't have to ride with anyone, and got to drive all by herself! She was quite excited about that, although she spent Saturday night and Sunday with her wrist wrapped in an ace bandage. She said they strapped her into the cart so tightly that she had to really stretch to reach the steering wheel, and that made her wrist and arm hurt....however, today she is just fine. They played arcade games and got the little tickets you could use to trade in for prizes. She ended up with 305 tickets, which she traded for a triangle golf tee game (like they have on the tables at Cracker Barrel), and a purple rabbits foot. By the time we got home, not only was the rabbits foot purple, but her hands were as well....on Sunday we went to church, so she got to see her friends in Sunday school. All in all she had quite a weekend!

Dh spent the weekend studying and napping. He now has the cold that's going around. So, all weekend I had to listen to, "Sniff; I can't breathe, I'm tired, this subject is sooooo boring, I wish we could do something, boy some tea would be nice, I'm sick of laying around...." etc, etc. Sheesh! Take some tylenol and be done with it already....men! Betsy had a quiet weekend....I took her and her friend to the mall while wee one was at her party. She spent the remainder of her time in her room, listening to music and chillin'.

As you can see by the pics, I spent the bulk of my sunday working on what I put off last week. I'm happy to say, it'sDONE! However, I do have laundry to do today, so there will probably be a rogue shirt or two that I have to iron today. I left the board up so I wouldn't be tempted to just throw it in the basket and ignore it until next week.

Ahhhh, only 25 more minutes until it's just me and Percy for the day. It's supposed to rain today, which is my favorite kind of cozy, cleaning day....happy Monday!!!!

P.S. Once again, Desparate Housewives prooved to be quite entertaining....anyone else hooked?
