Happy Birthday Mom!!!!

Today is my mother's birthday....HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! We are going to her house tonight, to shower her with gifts and cake. I am making her favorite cake, which is red velvet. Everyone in my family loves that cake....

I would put in here what we got for her, but I would hate for her to read this and ruin the surprise. So, just like mom, you will all have to wait to find out what wonderful gifts she is going to receive! LOL....I'm going to take my camera tonight, so I will catch the festivities on film. Oh joy....

I had to go out and get the ingredients for the cake, and I went to the new grocery store that was just built and opened near me. OMG....it's beautiful! The freshly waxed floors were gleeming, shelves were stocked and full, and there was no waiting when I went to check out. I will definately be shopping there from now on.

I missed the game last night, and apparently missed some controversial action! I was just checking out the hightlights on broadband....yikes! Being that the Cubs are not involved, I don't care who wins....but if karma is involved, I think it'll be the Bo Sox movin on up....

Anyhoo, I had better get to baking and frosting and wrapping....
