Wednesday....

Why yes, this is my usual mode of transportation, when I'm not in my mini van....

*Update: I've had many people ask about the little girl from wee one's class who is supposedly allergic to her own sweat. Turns out, it was a 4th grade "urban legend". Her mother was a chaperone on the feild trip because the little girl has severe asthma. How it went from asthma to toxic perspiration is beyond me....but you gotta love a 4th graders imagination. When I confronted wee one about it, she looks at me and says, "Huh? Oh, okay....", shrugged her shoulders and went back to her cartoons. *Sigh.

I'm almost done with my sewing, yippee. Although being that Christmas is coming, I will have to start another load right away. Seems Betsy wants a digital camera, and wee one wants an electric scooter. These are pretty big ticket items, so Santa is going to have to revise the "three gift rule". Either a. they get their chosen gift, but it will be a "three in one" deal, OR b. they get their chosen gift and the remaining two gifts are at Santa's discretion. (i.e. a cd or socks....)

I can't believe the holiday season is closing in on us so quickly. Living somewhere that the temperature in October is still in the 80's, gives you a false sense of season. I keep thinking Christmas is a long way off....in reality it will be here in 79 days, 16 hours and 38 minutes. (According to the Christmas clock on christmasdepot.com). Yikes!

Well, I am going to get going....it's time to braid hair, pack a bookbag, and start my cleaning. Welcome to my world....

Candy Corn Dancing

Did you know if you eat a few pieces of candy corn with a few roasted peanuts it tastes like a Payday candy bar? Try it....(This is for you, Cheezy. I know how much you LOVE candy corn! pmsl!)

I am very curious what it is that you sew?  My mom got my daughter a digital camera for Christmas last year, I found it online for her and it was a great deal - I think under $75.  She uses it all the time and loves it - it's an HP.

Josh wants the whopper gift this year too...thank God he still believes in Santa that we can balme it on Santa then for not leaving him the pile of toys and just one gift this year.
Have a great day!!

I love the little candy corn guy! Does it have to be a specific brand of candy corn? Cause I saw it in a grocery store sales ad for 69 cents a bag.

Glad that the "girl" didn't have toxic sweat! LOL. . that would be horrible! And atlease you straightened it out with wee one. :-) Maybe it will spread that she's not allergic to her own sweat.  I must admit it cracks me up!

Glad the sewing is almost done!
