I just can not begin to tell you how freaking HOT it is here. I'm meltinggggggggg....
I can't believe it is already Wednesday. My days seem to run one into the next. I am beyond relaxed....I'm bored. I think the girls are getting there too. Thank goodness for Betsy's job or she would be insane by now. Wee one has had quite a few things to do this summer though, so she is not as bored. However, neither she nor Betsy has gotten out of their pj's all day today....and I didn't until an hour ago. But I have a reason....
Okay, maybe I don't. I got up at 7 this morning and let the dog out and fed him. Then I got back in bed to read "just for a while". Of course you know what happens when you read and you are not quite awake....you fall asleep! Which is what I did until 10:50. So....I grabbed a bit of breakfast and sat down to watch an hour of Judge Mathis....lol. I can't believe that me, queen of clean, daily duster of the house, rebel of relaxation is confessing that I had such a lazy morning!
However, at noon I showered and makeup'ed and cleaned the house. I just finished washing the dog as well. I tell ya, that is a pain in the arse. I should just take him in to have it done, but I can't see paying that much money for something I can do at home for free. And it is a pretty good workout for me.
I am so hot now....and with the weather the way it is, it is hard to cool down even in the air conditioning. I turned the fan on in the other room and wee one complained. Doing nothing all day she was "cold" with the air blowing on her. Actually, her exact words were, "Turn the fan off mom, my eyeballs are cold." LOL.
I have not taken anything out for dinner tonight. We have plenty of left overs....and I'm sure I'll get plenty of complaints when I offer them to the family. Oh well....take it or leave it is what I say! It's too hot to turn on the freaking oven. We grilled out last night which was nice....of course I made fries in the oven so that sort of defeated the purpose.
Well, I'm off to sit under the fan and cool my eyeballs....later....

Phew!! I hear ya about the heat. It is hot as can be here in Kentucky too!
I know what you mean about being bored. My kids have been spending some time with their granny and I have been here at home. I ended up not having to work at all while they have been gone. I can't waitl till they come home...
My kids were beginning to get so bored that they were looking forward to school starting back! It starts back so early here (Aug 10th). I am ready to get back into that routine also...

LOL...her eyeballs were cold... That is so cute! I so know what you mean about it being hot. The heat index here is 110 but add that to my pregnant hormones and there are NO words to describe how freaking hot I am...lol. Anyway, have a good one!*~*Emily
Your life is so different from mine... it's fascinating to read, really. I hope you'll stop by my journal some time! Pamela PS. I got a new vacuum cleaner :-)
Hey, everyone deserves a day like that once in a while! As long as you totally enjoyed yourself....who cares!! (LOL!)

ooo those are fun days to have...where you do what you want to for a few hours especially when it doesn't happen too often.
It's so hot and humid here, it's still ick out and it's past 11 pm!

Her eyeballs? LOLOL I know what she means though, my eyeballs have gotten pretty cold before. ahaha. Anyway, lazy days are great, but I can't help but feel I've wasted time, oh well. I am sooo ready for school. Only another 2 weeks for me, yippie! ~Melissa
Hee-hee!!! I can guarantee that no one in my house would ever complain about their eyeballs being too cold!! They are very used to living in a meat locker! LOL!
Hugs and love, Lisa

Its HOT & HUMID here in Illinios too. The AC has been working overtime.....
Nothing wrong with having a laid back morning sometimes. Its good for the soul.
On Sundays, I love doing that. Get up, have coffee, do my journal, fix the kids
breakfast, and then take a big cup of coffee and the paper to bed to check the
thread count on the pillow cases..........................
Mother and I have been staying with my 73 year old aunt with broken ankle. She has been running fevers and stays cold, so her house is cool but not enough for 90+ weather. Needless to say, I think I may have lost a pound or two just sitting in her house!
My eye balls are hot!! LOL. Kids say the greatest things!!
*hugs*
What you described here...is basically everday of my life.
