Last night....

The play and dinner last night was a lot of fun. We saw "Lost in Yonkers". I had no idea what the story line was, and it ended up being very entertaining. The kids really had a good time. They got a table right next to the stage, got special drinks....we sat on the fourth level, and had a marvelous view. The food was okay, nothing to write home about....but I would go again, just for the show.

I spent the day shopping for a top to go with the pants I was wearing. The store I wanted to go to didn't open until 1:00, which I didn't realize, so I was there two hours early. I went into Marshalls and bought a back-up top, in hopes of finding what I really wanted when the store opened. I sat in my car for twenty minutes, waiting for them to open the store and what happens? The girl leaves the key at home and has to go retrieve it. Forget it....I went home with a top I really didn't want....which is why there are no pics of me in there. I hate that! I wasted $20. Oh well....I probably would have wasted it on something else anyway.

I spent today cleaning, wee one is at her friend's house swimming, and Betsy is walking around saying she's bored. How can she be bored? She slept till 11, then I made her clean her room and the bathroom, and now I've got some really fun laundry for her to fold. What more could a teenager ask for? If she's so dang bored, she should go get a job. Anyway....

That's it from hot and humid Florida. What I wouldn't give for a cool, crisp autumn day right about now....

WOW!  Who would have thought Betsy had that figure hiding under all those clothes?!!  She should definately show it off more!  Wait a minute, ummm, I meant to say HIDE YOURSELF, DON'T SHOW IT OFF!  There, now I feel like a mom!  Your girls looked absolutely gorgeous for their evening out.  Too bad there were no new pics of you in your horrid top.  Just once I'd like to see you take a bad picture!  LOL!
Hugs and love, Lisa

OK, first off, both your daughters are very pretty and tell betsy that she really looks good in "girlie" clothes. As for you and your top.....What can I say....You would look good in anything so don't give us that crap about not having something nice to wear. And you have a warpped sense of humor if you think cleaning isn't boring specially to a teenager. hahaha silly girl    Hugs Lanny

Looks like you all had a great time. Betsy looks really good in her "girly" clothes. I'm sure the top you had to settle for was very pretty. I hate when that happens tho. Well if Betsy is still bored she can fold our clothes too, hehe.
Ugh humidity, thats all I'm saying!

Everyone looks so pretty in the pictures.  A dinner theater does sound like it would be fun to try.  Why would a store open so late?  That's crazy. ~Melissa

hi
I have been reading your journal for a while now and love it. I found a link to your journal from my friend, Joanies journal and hope you don't mine me gatecrashing. You have both inspired me to start my own if you fancy popping over a reading it. I am not half as good with words as you and Joanie though!
Its sounds beautiful where you live in Florida and your descriptions of your family make them sound beautiful. You seem to have a far more interesting life than mine anyway. Well carry on the good work with your blog and hope you dont mind me reading it. Here's the address for mine should you be extra bored, lol http://journals.aol.co.uk/jules19642001/Itsmylife/

Gotta love when you can't find a top to wear when you really need to. The kids looked like they were having a great time. My kids always like sitting at a table by themselves makes them feel like like big stuffs. A teenager cleaning what's that? LOL I couldn't get my pre-teen to clean if his life depended on it. ~Angela~~

Sounds like you all had a great time at the show.  Your pictures are great.  Tell Betsy I think she looks really nice in her cute outfit.

Love the pics and of course...Betsy looks beautiful as does Wee One.  The dinner theaters are not well known for good food (at least not here in Orlando) but the shows make it all worthwhile!
