Okay, for some reason there are two pics of the same thing up there....and I am not going to mess with taking one down. *Sigh. So far today I have done.....nothing. I have so much to do, yet I'm being lazy. Must be the summer weather. Seems the humidity comes out, and my oomph goes in. We have a big week coming up, so naturally I'm all stressed. I have to:
pick up sisters from airport
cook for father's day
get my dad his gift
finish all laundry/ironing
pack
do a "good cleaning"
make sure all the bills are paid
sort out Percy's babysitting schedule
etc., etc.
I'm terrible with trips. I save everything for the last minute, then run around like a mad woman trying to finish everything. But, I do my best work last minute, so I suppose I should just relax.
Wee one just finished a healthy breakfast of leftover Spanish rice and chicken casserol. She is a carb addict! She usually has chicken noodle soup for breakfast, which I will never understand. Certain foods are not meant for morning consumption.....if it's normal to eat for lunch or dinner....it isn't meant for breakfast. However, I love making a breakfast dinner. You know, eggs and sausage or sometimes waffles at 6 pm. I usually do that in the winter, though.
I keep seeing strange cars turning around in our cul-de-sac this morning. Someone must be having a garage sale. That is the only downside to living in a cds.....as you know we've had our mailbox knocked down as well as a semi turning around in our front yard, destroying the sod. *Sigh. I still like the quiet of living at the end of the street. Hmmmm, I wonder who is selling things, and I wonder if they have anything decent? I love garage sales. Probably the snoop in me....pawing through peoples stuff. I always feel guilty, though, if I dont' buy something. Strange.
I really should get up and start my morning....the house isn't cleaning itself....

You are so funny! I hope you have a great time with your family this weekend. I'm sure you are excited for your sisters to come in. I hope your dad and your hubby enjoy their father's day! Are you heading to NC this week?
Where ya going? Have fun! Angie
I Haven't started my morning yet and look at the time. I was hoping the house would clean it self but it didn't. I love your mug made me crack up laughing. You're so cheap with the pics though. It's my turn to write. I won't have time to write anything or even think until probably after 11pm tonight
Um house cleaning i can relate 100 percent! Busy Busy !
yum zucchini bread!
Try not to stress too much and just think how much fun you'll have on your trip. Garage sales are so much fun altho I haven't been to alot since moving here. Use to go to quite a few in TX.
Self cleaning house...wouldn't that be nice??
You've got your work cut out for you! I'm looking foward to our beach trip, but dread the packing (and even worse--the UNpacking when we get home!). I hope we both feel relaxed and refreshed when we get back! Love, Kim
Your to-do list is too long (and mine would be longer and that is why I don't make to-do lists, but merely depend on my mind to keep track of everything I need to do). Thanks for the snapshot of breakfast. You are too funny for words...
I love the union jack on the coffee cup, is that because we won the match the other day 3-0, lol
Your trip sounds, fun, hope you all have a good time.
I love cooked breakfasts as a treat or when we are camping, they taste so good cooked outdoors. I am not sure I could eat soup for breakfast though, but its good kids have their own tastes.
Hope you found something cool at the garage sale.......Jules x
