Ahhhhh yes, tomorrow the girls go back to school. Betsy is ready to get back, however wee one informed me only moments ago that she does not want to return to school and "can't you just homeschool me?". Poor kid. She has such anxiety issues....I can only pray that things get better for her. She is such a smart, witty child....it makes me so sad to see her stress over things. I'm trying to build her up so that the second half of this year goes smoothly. Of course now they are going to be pushing the FCAT's (standardized testing) so that will open up a whole new bag of worms. I guess I had better make sure her anxiety medication has plenty of refills....she has already been having acid reflux today, thinking about returning to school....sigh.
I made a pretty dang good dinner last night....fried tilapia with hushpuppies (homemade and wonderful!), coleslaw and rolls. Everyone loved it. I did so well eating yesterday....cereal for breakfast, bagel and fruit for lunch....and then dinner. Oh well....at least I was on track until 5! LOL. It rained buckets last night. I had to walk the dog and of course the minute we got out there it started pouring. She HATES getting wet, so it was a pretty quick trip out there.
London has been doing so well at night. All I have to do is say "nighty night" and she walks right into her crate. Of course, last night she was barking at 2:30....so out we went to go potty. Funny though, when John let her sleep next to the bed instead of in her crate (bad, bad John!), she slept all night. Just like a toddler who wants to lay with mommy I suppose....she has trained really well....although she still has "potty issues" sometimes. I suppose that is normal....but she knows "sit" and "fetch" really well. I am definately going to have to take her to obediance training though....she has inherited Percy's stubbornness. She will sit down and REFUSE to move on her leash if she doesn't feel like going in the direction I am. Percy would actually sit and lean away from me for extra leverage. I swear....I think he is her guardian angel and he's whispering in her ear just to taunt me! LOL.
Okay, I'm off to the store....then back home to tackle the mound of crud on my desk. Oh how exciting my day is!!!!

Poor wee one. I hope things get better for her.
roxi already needs a new crate. and has been doing "ok" with the potty stuff.
I JUST got done tackling my crud who knew there was wood under here!
Take Care!
Rachael had aniety too. she litterally ran down and slide on her knees and prayed during grading. I started homeschoolingher and workedon her issues of trust int he LORD and believing in her self. Not needing to follow the crowd or worry about wht htey think. now It hink I did my job. she is very independant and differeint and does not follow the crowd and has no fear. MAYBE I should have left a little bit of fear in that child. but she is assured and as Tracy puts it a bit to cocky for her own good at times as she tell sit like it is. yet she has such a soft caring side and such adn gentilness with the special needs children she watches. So she does have blanace. POOR WEE one I understand totally i was there in school too like that. yes we had rain and tornados near 70 which is very odd for ky this time of year. Yes i told you when you got a new dog somehow the old one shines thru almost as if the are there with you again. speaking of Ineed doggie prayer again Sasha has thsi white snotty crap she is coughing and choking on. wiating on the vet to call back and iM about to give up its frustrating that htey ony want to come in to the office around here in our area from 3-6!!!!!!!!!! pray for her she is such a sweet gentile soul and getting her is what cuased Pepper to stop having seizures he loves her.
My daughter suffers from anxiety also. She was able to get through elementary and middle school okay, but high school was a mess. She is now homeschooled. Good Luck with wee one!!

I'm working on my mountain of crud too and the to-do list is really long, unfortunately. We went back to school today here in Seminole Cty. I'm kinda glad because we need structure back. This morning I'm running reports on my quickbooks program to see how our sales ended up for the year and how much we spent on subcontracted labor. Boring stuff like that.... no apartments to clean anywhere today. People are just getting back from vacation on our properties so I imagine the schedule will get to being busy over the next few days. I did change all the calendars but now I have to put the pages in my organizer for the year. I'm too cheap to buy them so probably will take me forever to do six months and then will have to quit at June because I'll be tired of making the weeks and months pages out. I punch all the holes and cut each page out from some copies I save. Man I gotta stop doing that to myself. Lol. It isn't worth it. Well back to my to do list. Maybe if I hurry I can get everything done and spend the afternoon sewing... not likely but a small perhaps-- right after I work off 5 lbs on my in house mini-gym. Lol.
Hugs,
Lisa

Hope the kids do okay in school. Ours start tomorrow, also. Eler Beth started worrying already, too! (And we already had that "home school" discussion!)

I hope Wee-One will be okay...I know the feeling, Josh is starting to have panic attacks now. He totally froze on a timed math test... He gets stomach aches at school, and before school too. Breaks my heart that the pressure of school gets to our kids like that...
Glad to hear London is doing so good!! When we had our golden...we trained him to get us our soda's out of the fridge and bring them to us...boy I miss that dog!!
*hugs*
My son didn't sleep at all last night because today is the first day back to school after being off for 11 days. He is just like Wee One, don't think that will ever change sadly. :( I have often said that puppies are just like newborns and I guess it's true huh?
Hugs and love,
Lisa
The kids here are gearing up for those standardized tests. Justin is in the grade now that if they don't pass the reading portion they are held back. It's a lot of pressure on the kids. Prayers for wee one!
Hugs,
Gretchen
Poor Wee One...I hope her first day back went okay.
Griffin went back today as well. I'm so glad to get him back into his routine.
