Monday....

Well, the weekend is over and today is nice and rainy. I love it! If I can't have cooler weather, at least it looks fall-ish outside. And it smells it inside. I have my candles burning and a huge pot of chicken soup simmering for dinner. Hey, a girl can dream....

I included a few pics of our decorating this weekend. I don't know what happened to the pic of my haunted house, but I'll put it in later. Wee one and I decorated yesterday whilst Betsy and my mom went to the airport to pick up my sister. She is here for two weeks to help mom move. Thank you Lord....now I'll have help with all the painting! LOL. We all went out to dinner last night and had a great time. We ate at our favorite seafood restaurant....which has the best blue crab crabcakes in the world. Mmmmm. We ended the evening relaxing at home....nothing too exciting going on here!

I have not heard from the vet today. I expect she will be calling this evening. I'm looking forward to having Percy home. We all miss him so much....I just hope that he is better today, with the two extra days of treatment.

I did watch DH last night....I thought it was okay. No spectacularly funny moments beyond the paperboy taking a nosedive. And really, who in their right mind would be able to push Mike away if he were kissing you? WHO I ask???? Sheesh. Susan has more will power than I will ever have!

It is so quiet in the house right now....I love it. There is no tv or radio on....just the humming of my Dell and the occasional click from the ac turning on.  I can't wait until it's nice enough outside that we don't need air or heat. My checkbook can't wait either. I was looking for a pool cover at wal mart yesterday, but they didn't have any. I bought the last one there on clearance, two years ago for $15. I was hoping to find another bargain....but alas, no such luck. I guess I will have to shell out the big bucks at the pool supply store. I'll try K-mart and Target first though.

Okay, I'm outta here for now. I have a pile of bills just waiting to be paid....

Sherry, the pictures are amazing! Your place looks straight out of a Halloween makeover magazine. I love the way you Americans really go to town with the costumes and decorating. Here in England, it's all rather half-hearted :-(

Your pictures are always great and they inspired me to finally master "You've got Pictures" - In the past I've felt like yelling "I know but how do I get them in the journal" - well it only took 2 days of dedication and voila!

Sherry, I love when you add pictures to your entries...now, let me first say, you should win an award just for your kitchen alone...you know how I love that kitchen.  And you really have a great halloween/fall theme going on there that is great...I would so love to live in your house!

I love your decorating. Thanks for the card too by the way. Man I wish it would be rainy and cloudy we have not had any since katrina its so dry here there was a slight rain sprinkle Thursday but just ten mintues or so and I dont count that. Betyou will love having your sister there. Sure hope percy comes home soon. Yeah I thought DH kind of dragged last night except for susan and the witch who was roller blading LOL that was kind of funny and when susan said SHHSSSSSS I waiting for God to kill me LOL  now that was funny. she gets in the worst places. I use to get a pool magazine that had decent prices but dont remember the name try online for one.

What a nice idea to dress up your home. From the pictures, it looks like a nice, warm place to be. I hope your Wee One enjoys her own little entrance way. nice touch.

Your house looks so nice, but when doesn't it?!?!?  Love the Fall decorations but I would feel weird decorating when it was still 90 degrees outside!
Hugs and love,

Your decorations are adorable!!  I have to get busy and decorate for fall over here.  I did get my nails done though but we don't have fall going yet so I better get busy and make it happen as I can't tell it's fall here until I put the scarecrow outside.  Hugs,
Lisa

I have been trying to make it feel like fall indoors, lol like I said I'm trying!  I hear that up north they are getting snow! *sigh*
I thought DH was alittle slower than usual this past Sunday but this next episode looks really good! I did like the moments between Bree and her mother in law though, lol
