As you can see by the above pics, dh is finished putting the walls up on wee one's tree house. I was going to go inside and take pics as well, but it was getting dark out (much darker than in the pics) and I was afraid of spiders....lol. I'm such a wimp. He has really done a great job with the house, and the pics really don't do it justice....but it was late and I can't photograph worth crap. He is going to trim it all out and paint it next and then hook up the electric. I told him wee one will have a great studio apartment by the time he is finished with it....
Tomorrow is grocery shopping day....yippee. Sometimes I can go three weeks without shopping and be fine....and sometimes I can go a week and it seems we are out of everything. This, of course, is one of those weeks. I cleaned out the pantry, fridge and freezer today and found that I have nothing. I am out of everything! And, of course the sales don't start again until Wednesday. But I want to shop tomorrow. And we all know that if I shop tomorrow, I'll miss out on some freaking spectacular sale that starts the next day, or, I will not shop tomorrow and the sales will be total crap on Wednesday. What to do, what to do. It's just that Tuesday and Thursday are my usual "nothing going on run around" days....and I don't think I can squeeze by until then. So why not just go get a few fillers? Because I can't. I have a certain "shopping pattern" and it can not be altered. (thank you OCD....lol). But I'm out of PLEDGE! Well, I can squeek by if I must....but it makes me nervous knowing that every time I press that nozzle, it may be the last, dying spurt of my poor little can....
Today I got the organizing bug and cleaned/organized my entire desk, including folders and such. I made lists of the girls school schedules in duplicate (one for the desk, one for the car), and I must say....it all looks really nice. No clutter to be found anywhere. I need to organize all of my sewing/craft things but I know where that will lead....straight to Wal-mart for some three drawer carts with wheels. Those things are awesome for organizing. I go nuts with them though, so I have to be very careful. I think if I had a 5000 sq. foot home, 3500 of it would be containers, all full of my belongings categorizedby shape, size, color, alphabetically, etc., etc. Today I stacked my "all occasion" cards by category and size....I just re-read that statement. I think I may need to get out more.
Well, Betsy is home from work, so I can go to bed and stop worrying about her driving at night....until her next shift that is. Night all....

However your ocd affects you...i have the opposite disease. I wish I had yours. I need help over here. The treehouse looks great!
ah man I know even when they drive I sometimes would just as soon drive them. Well anyway that tree house looks great. hubby got a table saw a few years ago. He love his though he does much more mechanic work than the getting to use that he wants. thats why he wants to come back to winchester to work. less time driving and more time home. Pluse he leaves early to beat the traffic there and saves gas so he sits at work for a bit. Takes a nap sometimes. But what kind of wood is on the sideing. its pretty. Love your pool too. yup I ve used bleach for clothes before. I love living with OCD. I MUST Do things now. I Must do them in order. I MUST I MUST> I get on a kick to organize something as simple as my cards and away it goes. In my mind I have got to organize my utinsil drawres and bathroom cabinets . Soon as I quit running all over the place. You have to be home to do that. Hubby is much better looking than bart. though I do see the similarities. AND I m sure hes smarter and Hubby has a much prettier wife!!!!!!! and well behaved kids.
Love the treehouse and with electricity too!
Bypass the shopping and go swim in your nice clear pool :)
I know you won't do that and I wouldn't either but it sounds like a good plan!
Hugs,
Gretchen
A very very nice treehouse built by a very talented man.
I'll bet your gonna keep him huh ??
Sounds like a good night for take out. Then on to the sales tomorrow.
We have "crazy Friday" sales at out grocery stores here. This is when I am able to get the best deals. I just go get the sale items on Friday, and then do the real shopping on Monday. That is my way of doing it anyway.

Yeah, maybe you need to get out just a little bit. Then, while your out you can come to my house to reorganize my craft stuff! It'll be ok if your Pledge is out for the day. :) The pool and the tree house look great!

Darling! Love the pic of John and Homer. . . So cute. OTOH, I think you and I may have been separated at birth, as well! Life IS incomplete without pledge, shopping schedules, and organizing, eh? Cya, and best to ya, Kris
That is some gorgeous treehouse! I would like to have one of those for a mom hideaway!
So, you are addicted to Pledge, huh? (LOL!!) Me, I am a Swifter addict. I have the floor Swifter and I have the Swifter vac and I have the swifter dusters! I just LOVE my swifters! The Swifter vac was actually recalled about a year ago and I wouldnt' get rid of mine because I couldn't live without it! They have new ones out now, so I guess they can no longer catch on fire! The kids and my DH were all over me for not parting with my Swifter fireball (LOL!!)

Yep, I want to move in! LOL! Great job!!! Your hubby is amazing! I won't even show my hubby that saw though, you know how men are with tools. If one has one, the other has to get one but better. Sigh. I love to grocery shop, but I have no set routine and I drive the kids nuts the way I change direction on a dime because I forgot something 2 aisles over. I love messing with them though, keeps them on their toes! :)
Hugs and love,
Lisa
The tree house came out great...what a lucky little girl :)

I wish I could get excited about grocery shopping! I really want to enjoy cleaning and grocery shopping... but I can't. And I suck at it! I wish you would have a Shelly Boot Camp for people like me! lol
The treehouse looks awesome!

Hello Sherry. First of all the tree house looks amazing, wee one must be so excited - I bet she'll want to sleep in it! It must be nice to have a "handy" husband around - Homer Simpson he surely ain't!! About grocery shopping, I love it but I always buy too much and so deprive myself of that lovely feeling when the cupboards run bare (when that happens I always feel like I've succeeded at being an efficient housewife - no waste, everything used to good effect & then the fun of filling them all up again!) As far as cleaning goes, I'm like you, I get really distressed if I live in chaos and disorder. Unfortunately, I'm distressed a lot because I DO live in chaos and disorder. It's hard to keep order with my pack of 6 wild children! I only have to turn my back for a second and a messy disaster has occurred. Really I should sit with my mop and bucket, my Bissell, and my assorted sprays, on standby all the time! Take care and keep organizing - it makes me feel good reading about it, even if I can't do it myself!

WOW, I'm very impressed with the tree house! I can imagine the memories that your daughter will have and how special she must feel to have such a great Dad. Do you have the Containter Store by you? You would love it :-) Pamela
I've got a GREAT idea! You come organize my house while I go swim in your pool! Yeah! err...no? hee hee... Wishful thinking from me, huh? Ah, c'mon...I"ll even let you do my grocery shopping! :-D (You are gonna leave me a menu plan, right?)
Way cool studio apt! Is mom gonna hang out alone in there every once in a while? I know I would! :)

Is OCD something that one can catch? ( like a cold ) If so please come and breathe and spread the germs!( Kind of like spread the love....) So love the tree house, perhaps the pictures can inspire someone in my household to build the same! (I wish) Tammy
