"Oh no you didn't just dis my homegirl...."
Once again I have been the oh-so-lucky recipient of a nasty comment from another AIM troll. It was in regard to my last entry about a sweet moment between mother and daughter. Heck, why don't I just show you the comment, and then we can analyize it together.
oh brother. maybe you should change your name to martha or susie. as in stuart or homemaker. Inflated egos are so out of style.

First of all, when making a comment, whether it be polite or extremely rude, you should always remember to capitalize the first word in each sentence, as well as those of proper nouns (words that name a particular person, place or thing). I do believe this is taught in the first grade and emphasized throughout elementary school.
Secondly, I am sure that the suggestion to change my name to Susie Homemaker or Martha Stewart was meant to be an insult, however to me it was a "good thing". I take pride in making meals from scratch, cleaning my house every day, and making memories with my children. Oh, and sometimes, when I'm feeling especially "Susie"....I wear a dress, nylons, and a string of pearls when I greet my husband at the door with his pipe and slippers. (This last sentance was an example of sarcasm:a mode of satirical wit, which I generally use in my entries).
Thirdly, I do agree with the commenter on one issue: inflated egos are out of style. Perhaps our commenter should check on the other two parts of her psyche; her "id" (instincts) and "superego" (conscience) and make sure that they are not inflated or deflated as well.
In closing, I think our friend mrsclean4ever has many issues to deal with, and should probably be pitied rather than looked down upon. Oh, and just for the record, her access to commenting is being
disinfected from this journal....

I LOVE YOU GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and yes I agree whole heartedly with all you said here and I TOO take pride in being called ..Martha Stewart was meant to be an insult, however to me it was a "good thing". oR susie home maker. Heck Maybe your commenter needs to have a good old fashioned soap in the mouth treatment from the old days or IF you cant say nothing nice then saynothing at all. I too take pride in my home skills and you know what I think it stinks that a few men higher up wanted to take down a woman who stood for wanting to make home or teaching us to make home a better place. GEE if I had stocks (and I dont) but if I heard they were dropping dont think if I did not have an inside help I would not sell them boogies fast!!!!!!!!!
Good for you girl!! You tell em! But I still loathe Martha" the ungrateful wench" Stewart none the less, however Ms clean needs to get a life and not visit journals that bother her or better yet not comment! As stated I thought your entry was cute

Oh Sherri, I love your response back to mrsclean! Only if she had a Kitchen Aid she'd have something to do with herself besides leaving rude comments in someones journal!
woo hoo! Sherry I saw that comment when I was commenting on what a great moment that was for you and your daughter and I was in shock. I'm very glad that you handled it. And I must say - you have handled the matter with grace and style. My utmost respect to you.

People really need a life don't they? One of my other journal friends also got hit by someone who thinks they know all and have a perfect life and think it is oh so okay to 'rip' on the entry and her...I just don't get people anymore...how good really does it make them feel?

Im sorry you have people trying to ruin your Journal. Seems as though mrsclean has a bit of the green-eyed monstered popping out. Dont worry about the "trashers" They have nothing better to do with their time than to sit back and be rude to make themselves feel better. Sad isn't it.

I will never understand why some people feel the need to try to make someone else feel bad... I love your journal. I can tell by reading it that you love your family very much and would do anything for them. If that commenter would read your journal often, she would know that too.
