Wednesday....

I thought this cloud would represent the weather around here rather well....although upon closer inspection he looks as though he doesn't feel very well....which works right along with my theme....

I just finished a mug of scalding hot tea with honey....it seems to be the only thing that helps. Can you believe it? I have been out of sugar for three days now. Not a speck in the house. The only thing it has prevented me from doing is having my coffee....I am going to the store after the doctor today....should I buy more? I'm tempted not to....I wonder how long I could go before I really needed some? Hmmmm....

We ended up ordering pizza last night. I was just too tired to cook. I have already taken out stew meat for a nice dinner so I shouldn't have any complaints. Although, JB is taking the girls out tonight to shop for my birthday. The last time we were at the Hallmark store I took wee one over to the display of Charming Tails, pointed to the exact one I wanted and said, "If daddy wants to know what to get me for my birthday, show him this." We will see what happens.

This year Betsy will buy me something with her very own money....how fun! I pointed her in the direction of a dvd so that she wouldn't have to spend too much....not that I really would have had to worry! LOL....just kidding honey. I know you would spend your entire paycheck on me just to show your love and appreciation for all I do....(no pressure there!)

I can't believe I am going to be 36. That means I am four years from the big 4-0. How could that be possible? I don't feel that old. I feel....34. That was a good age. Not quite old and not too young. I'm not complaining....heck, I will take all the birthdays the good Lord deals out to me. I'm just amazed at how time flies.

Okay, enough of that.

Well, I should get going and....oh, who am I kidding. I am going to go back to bed until it's time to go to the doctor. Goodnight!

Well, Happy Birthday, whenever it is hehehe And 36 isn't old at all. Start thinking old when you get to 50 haha  As for the sugar......best get some just in case you have a craving and that way you won't have to run out and pick some up.  As for your coffee, just stir it with your finger to sweeten it up.  Hugs Lanny

Love the hat and pennant :)
It's been dreary and rainy here too.
I hope you get to feeling better very soon!
I'm turning 35 this year....mid 30's YIKES!
Ben will be 40 next year, hehe! lol
I think that the 30s are actually a lot better than the 20s so the 40s should rock....right?

Hugs,
Gretchen

I wonder if your illness has anything to do with the sudden lack of sugar?! It could be that you're going cold turkey (It happens to me ...OFTEN -but giving up Diet-Coke is the real killer! - I worry about the enamel on my teeth) Have finally figured out my Alerts so I'll be able to keep track of your fabulous site!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY in advance I hope-- and hope you feel better and that the doctor gives u some great medicine that works overnight.  Now if you have some vodka around-- I was just over at Amy, Sugar n Spice journal who was hoping Emily had some vodka to fed ex--and I was thinking how it's probably about the same as whatever is in NyQuil which just about knocks any disease or sickness and all evil right out of my body... so if you are out of Nyquil (and sugar) maybe try a little vodka!  Take Care and have a wonderful birthday!  I turn 27 every year but in truth we're pretty close in age.  That is so awesome when kids start earning their own money to burn and buy us gifts...  sniff, sniff, they grow up so fast!
Hugs,

Lisa

WTH?  I could have sworn I commented here yesterday, but I guess not.
My girls have been out in the rain every single day, lol.
You'd pry be fine without your sugar, but no coffee for how many days??? You are so much stronger than I am.
Hope the doctor was all good and if ya feel 34, that's cool, but you look 29 :)~Melissa
