As you can see from above, I've included a picture of Betsy and her boyfriend. I felt bad leaving her out....so here she is in all her glory! I can't believe she will be a senior next year. Actually, they are already "official seniors", according to the school. The graduating class is gone, and they had an assembly outside, "welcoming" the new seniors. They had food and music and a general good time. I can't believe my daughter is in her final year of high school....she will graduate half year, which will be 19 years after I did. Holy smokes....19 years???? Where has my life gone? I don't feel that old!
Not much else going on in the JBCoupe household today. I FINALLY got some sewing done, as well as the ironing AND paid my bills. Yeah, I'm smmmmmmmmmokin. So, to reward myself, I do believe I shall hit the road and go to the mall. There are a few things I need to pick up....well, okay, I don't need them, but they will sure be fun to have!
Okay....my charge card and I are outta here....gonna spend some 'quality' time together. We need that....it's been a while!

What's that smell......could it be burning plastic??!! You go girl...I just LOOOVE shopping too! I'm so glad Hayley cheered up after reading those comments - you're so right, there are some amazing people in j-land (yourself included, of course!) and I'm honoured to have 'met' them.
Wow, Betsy and her beau (?David) make such a cute couple....you're happy I hope? It'll be 10 years since I left school.....time sure flies when you're having fun!!

OMG! Betsy's boyfriend looks just like Christian Slater!! WOW! Great picture of the two of them! :) Of course we are supportive here in J-land! Most of us are Momma's afterall and we hate to see any child hurt in any way. Plus we know how it feels to be the Mother of that child and the heartache it brings to watch our children suffer like that. Hope you have fun shopping!! My credit cards are maxed out! :(

I feel your pain My daughter Tiffany graduates next year also..seems like yesterday I was 19 years old and in labor..........then a married young mom to a lil girl while all my friends were in college....NOW fast forward to 4 kids..dunno where the time has gone......

Betsy sure has grown up since i started reading you. Her BF is a nice looking fella. My 17 yr old daughter will also be a senior. Hard to believe. Hayley is a strong and wonderful kid....i hope she finds a few new best friends soon who deserve her because those other snottypants sure dont.

From what I hear, you better save that credit card to pay for senior year!!! My sister graduated 2 years ago... I remember that she needed money for something every time she turned around!!! Sheesh. And I had thought all along that the money thing started when they went to college. LOL

I LOVE shopping!! Using my credit card makes me sweat though, but every now and again we ladies just gotta do that. Great pic of Betsy and boyfriend!! Sorry I'm so behind. But I'm caught up now. Besty and her boyfriend look so cute. What happened to Haley happened to my son every single year from 2nd grade till last year. I know just what you must have felt calling the parents..and I know just how your heart must be breaking over this all. She's a good girl and doesn't deserve this kind of abuse and she's tough and I love how she has handled it all. Of course I have to think they are just all jealous of her. Look at her! But with girls...ya know even though I am one....this sorta stuff never ends. Even into adulthood. She has a bestfriend though...and she'll realize it someday if she doesn't know already....it's you!
