PLEASE say a prayer....

I am sitting here in stunned silence. Please, please say a prayer for Gretchen and her family. Her young son, while waiting at the bus stop for his brother, was hit by a car and killed. I found out via Julie in her journal.

I will be praying for Gretchen and her family....for strength to get through this horrible situation, to know and feel God's protective arms around them, and for peace in their hearts and minds while trying to answer the question "why".

Gretchen, Ben, Caitlin and Justin....you are in our thoughts and prayers. We all love you and are praying for you and your angel Matthew. God bless you all.

*Here is a link to the obituary. There is an online guestbook if you would like to leave a message for the family.

I read about that from julie too what a horrible start to the summer and no words seem good enough. Kind of makes us all feel blessed no matter what  a bad year it seems to have been .

May God wrap his arms around that poor family and may they find comfort in our prayers. I can only imagine the pain they must be feeling. What a terrible tragedy. Just rips your heart out.

Thank you for letting us know what happened.  I just visited her journal and left a few words.  Of course, what can you really say at a time like this......

I just read about this in Julie's journal also.  Life is so terribly hard sometimes and devastating.  I will keep praying for Gretchen and her family.  Thanks for putting the links in your entry so we can try to reach out and offer some words of comfort and love.
