The birds are out full force around here lately! It's so nice to hear the singing in the morning. We've got our Cardinal family back as well as some Blue Jays. Of course, as soon as I put the birdseed out our little squirrel friends were there, looking for a free meal. I have to say though, they all share quite well.
Play day went wonderfully for the kids. The weather was perfect....and we were out in the back field, under the trees with the cool winds blowing....so nice. Wee one's class did extremely well, winning 1st place in 80% of the categories. They lost the tug of war however, which meant no trophy for their room....but they all got participation ribbons. They ended up having pizza and chips, courtesy of the grandparents of one of the students....along with the ice cream. Needless to say they were all bouncing off the walls!
I can't believe the end of the school year is coming so quickly. Only a few more weeks for my kids. It seems the year goes so fast here. Maybe because of the weather. Or maybe because I'm getting older....who knows!
I dropped dh off at a car show today, to walk around with his two buddies. They were so funny....just like kids. They met at the food stand and were jabbering before I even pulled away! LOL....I took the girls to my moms for the evening, as she lives right near where the show was.
We got our red rock too! Yippee....although that does mean we are going to have to actually go outside and put it down. I have had no energy! Actually, Thursday I had a horrible reaction to my antibiotics and haven't felt very well since. I'm just starting to get back to normal now. Remind me never to take Ceftin again. Horrid!!!! I actually had two of the "rare side effects" but didn't realize it until I looked it up. Sheesh! Give me my trusty Z-pack next time....at least I know that works quick and easy!
Okay, it's late and we have church in the morning....have a lovely weekend!

Glad you are starting to feel better. I wanted to thank you for the lovely e-card. I am doing somewhat better myself. Spring is in full swing here in Indiana, my tulips are popping up and should bloom any day. Have a blessed Sunday!

We have 2 "Mr. & Mrs." couple Cardinals here that I love waking up to and watching every morning! Not to mention 4 mourning doves that greet me each morning. I can sit there for hours and watch them. Oh, we have little squirrel buddies too that come over and share really well with the birdies too! Sorry you had a bad reaction to the antibiotic! I hope the doc makes sure to mark your file for future reference, not that you will forget that like EVER! LOL! Hope you start to feel better soon!
Hugs and love, Lisa

Sorry about the meds. This entry is making me have dejavu about last years entry concerning the same things. I can't believe a year passed by already. Feel better and so sweet of you to feed the birds. I would love to feed them but my cat will eat them in the process.
I enjoy hearing about you and your daughters doing things. :-) Sounds like you and wee one had a great time. I wish we had cardinals and blue jays around here - I haven't seen any in YEARS ... maybe when I was in IN or FL? I don't know. I'd have birdseed out just to see them if they were around here. :-) Hope you continue to feel better sorry about the meds reaction.

I'm so glad that the Play Day went so well. :-)
It stinks when antibotics seem to make matters worse. I've had that happen to me before.
I hope you're feeling better now.
