I had a dream.....oh man did I ever!

Have you ever had one of "those" dreams, where you wake up and you're like, "Dang....where did that come from?" (The following will be a short synopsis of my romantic, touchy-feely dream, so any men reading might want to turn away now....)

Maybe my stress level has been so high that subconsiously my brain decided I needed a little break....to which I say, yeah baby. What I remember is that I was with a doctor who was napping in a room between patients. I didn't know him well, but we seemed to have a good rapport. We were talking/flirting....then somehow kissing. I remember thinking that I didn't want to kiss him....but he convinced me otherwise. It got rather hot from there....until someone walked in. I remember the doc had an accent, and he wasn't astonishingly good looking, but there was some kind of "soul" connection between us. Okay guys....analyze that one! LOL.

I have so many things on my to do list today. I need to finish some sewing, call the bug guy, do my ironing (hubby "mentioned" he was out of shirts...."I'm getting low on shirts here!" yelled from inside the closet), and I've begun steam cleaning carpets, couches, whatever looks like it needs refreshing. Oh, and the dog is in need of a vet visit and I'm sure some medicine. Does the fun never end around here????

Only 2 weeks until registration for Betsy at high school....and we are still waiting on Wee one's postcard which announces which teacher she will have this year. Every day she runs to the mail box, only to come in and throw the mail on the counter in disgust. "WHEN are they going to send it?" she will ask. Oh, to be young again, when the highlight of your summer is finding out who your teacher will be. I remember back in elementary school, we would have to go to the school to find out who our teachers were. They would have a "wall of classes" and you would find your grade then check all the rosters. I'll never forget when I got the "mean" 2nd grade teacher. I was horrified! She was infamous for her phrase, "Park it and cork it!" (a bit more pc than sit down and shut up....lol). Ahhh, memories.

Well, it's 6:30 and I suppose I should be getting a move on. Or, perhaps I'll go back to bed and hope my doctor friend is waiting.....mmmmmhmmmmm.....that's the stuff.....

With all the stress going on in your life with your mom (We had family flare up in mine last night can you believe my aunt who has power of attorney went and bought my grandmother gas to mow her yard. Shes not even suppose to go shopping!!!!!!!! Yeah she might as well take a gun to her head and pull the trigger!!!!!!!!! she wants that money for sure)and other family members going on in your life I can understand how your dream might be your way of feeling some love and appreciation. I guess you just need to feel sexy and wanted and more than a chauffer and mom and house keeper and having all the ADULT worries that it seem these middle age years bring us. Well Thats not much of an interpretation ofyour dream I guess. Maybe its just my needs coming out. But One day I am going ot askthe great one just why we have some of the dreams we have. They seem so real and the feelings kind of linger from them. Almost like you are there yet you are still here. Lori

The neve of those people walking in on you during your dream!  To be continued tonight maybe?  Our kids don't find out their teachers until the day before school starts but the whole summer that's about all they talk about.  Hope Wee One gets who she wants.  Good luck getting everything accomplished and have a great day.

OMG!!  It must be something in the air!!  I had a dream like that the other night, not with a doctor...ahem...but it was all good in the hood!!!  ;O) lol.
I hope you went back to bed to finish that dream!!!
6 more weeks here till school starts!!  :::sigh:::  Hope wee one finds out soon, the waiting at that age can be so hard!!
Try and have a good day, even with you chores!!

I hope you went back to sleep and finished that "dream"--LOL!  BTW~ most appropriate clipart!!  I hope the family "situation" will improve--I'd hate to see your mom having anymore responsiblities right now.  Love, Kim :o)

That sounds like a great dream. LOL  I want a dream like that!
In the county I went to school in, they sent the postcard things, but not where we live now.  We have to go to the school and just like you said, they have a wall where you find your grade, then your name.  At least we don't sit and wait for the mailman.  Poor Wee-one, it's so hard to be patient when you're young.  I see she's ahead in the voting though! Woo-hoo :)~Melissa

A nice harmless little dream like that is your mind giving you treat!!!! I've had dreams that make me wake up blushing....always about quite unexpected people, not people I've ever lusted after in real life & never about any current partner! Sometimes I can't make eye contact with the person for some time after in real life in case they somehow know!!
Hope you sail through your chores & your kids get the teachers they want!

Nice dream!!  I wish I had dreams like that!!  We still have the system where you go to the school and see which teacher you have by looking at the door area of the school where they have all the names of the kids/teachers posted.  It is exciting needless to say each year for the kids to go and check which friends will be in their class.  Of course, this doesn't happen in the middle school anymore, they just tell you the homeroom number, that's it.  Here's hoping you had another good dream like that one tonight!!
Hugs and love, Lisa

Mmmm, I had a memorable dream the other night but, NOTHING like yours.  I will admit YOU were in the dream!  OK,I guess I better share now.  I had a dream that I went to FL to visit my youngest and then I joined up with you and Melissa and we all drove up to NY and "kidnapped" Kara and Angela ... where we all laughed and had fun at some round table talking and joking around. :-)

BTW ... I must have been blessed, I NEVER had the MEAN teachers.  I was more worried about WHO was in my class.
