Procrastination....

Today I had decided to finish my sewing. I'm about 3/4 finished....but I keep finding other things to do. I settled down to sew, then remembered I hadn't eaten yet, so I got up and made coffee and toast. While in the kitchen, the dog was whining, so I let him out. I got my treat and sat down to eat. After finishing....I did sew....until I heard my computer announce that I had mail. So, of course I had to check that. It was a journal entry announcement....after reading for a bit, I got caught up in two im's and a phone call. Flash forward 40 minutes....and I'm back to sewing. I did manage to finish the first half before re-warming the coffee in the microwave, mopping the kitchen floor and sending a few e-mails. Then I got my weekly Linky & Dinky newsletter....and had to visit a few interesting looking sites. Flash forward 30 minutes and I'm back to sewing, only to remember that I wanted to look something up in my atlas. I go to the bookshelf and retrieve my book, look it up and start sewing, but remember something else....I decide it would be a good idea to keep a pad and pen next to the sewing machine so that I could write down what I wanted to do on my next break. Soon, it was 2:00 and time for me to log on for an instant message session with Cheezy....(she just loves my company and insists on talking daily....lol). Anyhoo, that leaves me here, waiting to pick up dd at the bus stop and then it's off to school to pick up oldest.

I could get so much more done if I would focus on the task at hand! My life wouldn't consist of running here and there last minute because I'm so easily distracted. I'd write more but Dr.....Phil....is....start.............

I agree Cheesy, she needs a reality check. Like she's all distracted by her computer ha, she can't get away from it. We are her life and we all know it. I mean now that her idol has been arrested haha But I don't know about sending her to Dr. Phil, I just don't think he'd be the same afterwards. hahaha Hugs Lanny

I think you did a lot today.  You managed to sew some and mop the floor and look something up on the atlas. LOL  To me, that's a full day. ~Melissa

So, I am not alone. Oh good. I thought I was the only one that had this problem. :) Thank goodness someone else out there has it too. :)
