Happy Easter

Tomorrow is Easter, a day that reminds us that there is hope in this crazy world of ours. It is the day that celebrates the death and resurection of Jesus Christ. When the stone had been rolled away and Jesus was no where to be found there was confusion and uncertainty. Not unlike how many feel today, not knowing our Savior. Without Him, there is a sense that something is missing; a feeling of lonliness or emptyness that can't be described.

But when Jesus appeared there was celebration and joy. When people come to know Him; to know that He is here, waiting for us with open arms, the hopelessness dissapates and the lonliness eases. We realize that no matter what happens in our lives, He is waiting to hold us in his arms and shower us with unconditional love. He is our salvation. He paid the ultimate price; His life, to set us free. His faithfulness to his Father, unselfishness, love and compassion for people is what has opened the doors to Heaven for us.

I complain a lot. I gossip, lie, judge; I am envious of some, and prideful at times, I am far from perfect. Yet, I am given perfect love by my Savior. How can I be worthy of this? It is by His grace and mercy that I am worthy of His love. I am in awe that He forgives our sins, and loves each and every one of us. He has faith in us....and I have faith in Him.

I wish each and every one of my special friends a Happy and Blessed Easter.
