As I sit here, our fence is being put up. I didn't even know they were here....I just happened to pass by the window and see them out front. Good thing I hadn't just gotten out of the shower....they would have charged me extra for "mental anguish".
I took the dog into the vet's office today. He had bitten his hind leg raw....pulling out all the hair and causing infection. A "hot spot" is what it is called. Anyway, they had to give him a bath, clean it off, give him another bath, and then prescribe a medication...all to the tune of $199. Yes folks, between that and the ear we are up to $650+ in dog debt just in the past three months. No wonder I can never pay my credit card off. My husband just said to me, "This is the FIRST and LAST dog we ever have!" I guess he's not one of those "pet lovers". LOL....
Not much else is going on. I got the "organizaiton bug" this morning while cleaning my kitchen. I did the junk drawer, the paper drawer, the baggie drawer, pantry, fridge and freezer. Of course there is tons left to do, but I need to get other things done....namely the wash. I heard the dryer go off about an hour ago....but I still have vacuuming to do. Crud! I also have to get some groceries and make the house payment. I wonder how mom's that work outside of the home do it? I would go nuts. How do they keep a clean home, food on the table every night, happy kids, happy hubby and happy selves? I complain that I have to sew on top of everything else, but I'm so lucky I can do that from my living room. I don't know....I'm rambling now....a sure sign that I need to get going. Have a lovely afternoon my j-land buddies!

I wish my fence were going up. Right now it has been raining for 2 days straight. The way the back yard looks I have no need for a pool. Just put on a suit and jump in.
We are going to be putting our own fence up this spring/summer and I can't wait!! I wanted a 10 foot cinderblock wall, but hubby talked me out of it saying it would look trashy. What's up with that?! I just want to keep the nosy neighbors from staring at us constantly when we are in our own yard! Man, guess I will settle on my 8 foot "normal" fence. Sigh! Glad you got the organization bug! I get that all the time! Darned bug!!!
Hugs and love, Lisa
You have a baggy drawer??? What exactly IS that? You are too much for me...Sorry to hear about your dog. We don't have one (I know, I'm awful, but I just knew that if we got one I'd be the one who had to care for it and I'm not big on animals. I'd rather have another child!) Well, I won't take up anymore of your precious cleaning and organizing time. When you're done there, why not consider a side trip to Georgia. To my house...
That is the only bug I want to catch.I really need to do some organizing around here.KIM
Awe, one of your puppies had to go to the vet? Hope he gets better soon. See, and here I knew that boat money would come in handy for vet bills. Hugs Lanny
PS: "mental anguish" hahahaha
It's impossible to get everything done when you work outside the home--hence the fact that I stay at home! LOL! ~Kim

I DO go nuts! What do you think is wrong with me? Do you think I've always been this crazy? LOL! I used to clean like you do, I was totally in the OCD cleaning mode but you do get used to the difference between what you'd like done and what really absolutely has to be done. It gets easier to let things slide with time. Oh no! Did I remember to feed the kids tonight? LOL! Just kidding!!!! :-)
