Are you tired of me yet?

Sheesh....third entry in 10 minutes. It's just that I forgot to answer Lanny's question. If I could go back and change one thing in my life....I would have gotten a formal college education. I would have loved to have become a teacher or a librarian. Sometimes I worry about my lack of skills. I toy with the idea of going back to school, but I get nervous. I'm older, what if I don't do well, what will I go for? Of course, if I wait three more years, dd and I can go together.  Matching book bags....outfits....I'm sure she would love that!

i think older people do better in college they take it more seriously. I think you should do it! Or just evening classes somewhere. Take something you enjoy.

Why not take a few courses here and there that interest you? Or even volunteer at the library so much so that they eventually hire you when an opening comes up? I wanna go out to lunch with everyone that would be fun. But I think we should bring lanny. Do you think he could handle us?

My daughter is in college now and she would tell you to go back because there are so many mothers attending college these days. When I went to college, the older the student, the more dedicated they were to their education. They took things seriously. They did not party. They were there for all the right reasons. They got the most out of their education. Don't be afraid to go back if you really want to.

If you want to go to college...GO! Start taking one course at a time if you need to ease in. More and more women with some life experience are returning to become teachers. If this interests you...DO IT! It also sets a good role model for your kids to see you pursue your education. Can I say it any louder. DO IT!!!!
