I have a confession to make....I just started my Christmas shopping....today! I know, I know....who would think that the self proclaimed queen of organization would wait this long to shop? Actually, I enjoy shopping late in the season. It just makes it seem more like Christmas. I love the "hustle and bustle". However, this year I found absolutely NOTHING at Toys-R-Us. Thank goodness for Target, which had both items I was looking for! Tomorrow when everyone is where they are supposed to be (i.e. school), I will take all of my purchases out and see where I stand. I'm hoping to only have to get stocking stuffers, and then perhaps a bit of online shopping to finish things.
Today was a bit nippy outside. It only got into the mid 50's, and this morning was downright cold. I was going to take a picture of my thermometer, but, well, I didn't. It was 40 at 8 am, which is pretty good for Florida. It was a very sunny day though....so I couldn't pretend it was going to snow. It will be cloudy again on Thursday, but in the low 70's. Oh well. Wee one actually wore gloves this morning whilst on patrol at school. It was strange getting out our little plastic grocery bag that holds our tiny collection of gloves and scarves. I used to have a closet full of them!
Awwww, man. I just remembered....tomorrow I have to run to the mall to get a gift certificate for John. They have this stupid "secret Santa" thing at work, where they spend $25 on gifts for one another. They get to write down three things that they want, and the woman he got wants a gift certificate to Victoria's Secret. And I'm not worried at all that he will be giving another woman that kind of thing....as she is 65! You GO girl! LOL.
Well, it is getting late and I've got about 2 1/2 hours before I have to climb out of my warm and cozy bed to take my master....errr, I mean puppy....out for an early morning potty break. I should get my butt to bed. Night all!

I am tired but I cant sleep either!! It is after 1:00 a.m. and here I sit listening to my husband snore. I hate having insomnia.
It is a freezing 7 degrees here right now. I think it is suppose to go down to zero by morning. If I had a dog and had to take it out-- I would freeze to death on a night like this.
LOL-- your husband's co- worker is 65 and still shops at Victoria's Secret?!-- Way to go. Sadly, I will probably be wearing granny panties when I am 65- LOL!!
Goodnite.
Hugs
Angel

Gretchen

I have been wondering where your entry was. I miss puppy pics. OH gillr I know you your loving this cool spell for you. DO YOU KNOW I always have my presents wrapped and at the fireplace the day after thanksgiving. yesterday I wrapped my first one . It was just Todds then later I got the girls gifts. Im going to wrap a few others and listen to music on achoosen day. Cludy day preferably. I m shopping later in the year too. You know I feel its more holiday too and though I always get my money in oct for it. YES JEWS DO A CHRISTMAS CLUB how else will we save for Hnaukkah and all lol BUT whynot take advantage of getting interest too lol Plus it forces me to save by having that money taken out each week. lOL Okay I love your puppy in the box. HEY Do what I Do on sunny days close the blinds and make it a cold day IN YOUR HOUSE LOL
Having a puppy is just like having a newborn all over again. I tell women who are getting that baby fever again to just get a puppy and see if you still have it after getting up every few hours and bringing the dog outside to do its business. LOL! I am sure that even starting this late in the year, you will have everything in order for Christmas. I noticed this year that people are buying a lot more, so the toy departments are very picked over and there is hardly nothing left. I have to still do stocking stuffers also. But, that's what the Dollar Stores are for!! :)
Hugs and love,
Lisa
65 & in VS panties? Hey, my kind of coworker!! LOL
Going to have FREEZING RAIN AND SNOW AND ICE MIXED tonight in Ohio. How lovely.

It's been colder here too, which I've been loving...it's about time. I hardly have a minute to myself now, with having to wrap presents and getting my baking in order...I need a good nap!
Thats why the Stock Market has been down lately...................
The store owners got together and talked about the fact that you havent been
shopping yet. They smelled a Recession.....................
Woman, ya gotta save the economy for us....
Shop, Shop, Shop
It's still 60 here...so I've been sleeping with my flannel sheets. hee hee hee... (I just know people up north are laughing at me....)
I've got all of my shopping done and packaged for people I have to ship to. Now for my own family.... Hmm...and this week I may have to get a tree.....

Hi! I haven't been in a shopping mood... our weather has kept me inside mostly... too much snow and today it's drizzling back and forth as the temp won't stabilize enough for snow or rain- yuck! My entire front hallway has piles of snow boots and scarves and coats and hats and a partidge in a pear tree!
Enjoy your 40 degree mornings!
~Erin
Too funny! Do you think Granny just wants to regift that thing to her 19 yr old granddaughter, because she isn't comfortable setting foot in that store? LOL That's a great way to do your shopping, have your secret pal at work do it while they think it is for you! Have fun with that! Cya, and enjoy the rest of your shopping. . . GO TARGET! Cya
I wish you could see the dining room table at our house. It's just full of stuff calling me to wrap it... a little of this and a little of that. Lots of people are getting a nice bottle of wine this year and others are getting one of the ten or twenty figurines I found that were just too cute. I like the hustle and bustle too of the shopping season. I hope I get it together soon as the things on the table all have to be mailed somewhere. Then there is the Santa shipment aka layaway from Walmart for the kids to wrap... that's the hard part. Maybe tonight after I coach Courtney's cheerleading team... or perhaps tomorrow after I figure out how to acquire like three or four new accounts, which has been driving me totally bonkers as business is so slow I could just sit on the floor and cry. See, I'm not happy when it's busy and not happy when it's slow. Pray for me to find some more cleaning work though I never thought I'd say that... LOL! Well, the master is probably calling you and I'm supposed to be in the van driving to coach those 20 some giggly girls. Hope you have a great evening and glad you are making progress on the shopping. Hugs,
Lisa
