It's Sunday, the day of rest. Can you guess what I'm doing? Yup....cooking dinner. I went to church, the hardware store and the grocery store....and now it is time to cook. What is on the menu, you ask? Well, tonights dinner will consist of pan-fried catfish served with tartar sauce and lemon wedges, fresh green beans, salad, chicken noodles, homemade bread, and cherry pie for dessert. Aunt Bea would be proud of my Sunday spread. Dh has worked on the bathroom since morning, and washed both vehicles, so I think he deserves a nice dinner.
Not much else going on here today. The youngest is swimming with her aunt for the afternoon, and the oldest is sitting next to me, ruining my concentration. So, with nothing else to say, due to the incessant giggling and laughing next to me, I shall go cook. Bon appetite!

Oh, your dinner sounds alot better than what I have planned. Mine's going to be Mac and cheese with fried ham slices and Corn. Simple but easy for a relaxing day. Hugs Lanny
I'm cooking also (under protest), just kidding. Everything sounds great as usual. Hope you have a great evening.
Ok Martha enough about your talents: chef, baker, radio announcer, merry maid you are so multi-talented. Do you really cook all that stuff for one meal?
That's so funny, my husband made almost the same thing as Lanny.
I had fish tonight with lots of yummy sides too. Why don't we weigh 500 pounds? LOL!
My husband cooks on a Sunday. He knows if want something exotic...he's got to take us out, or do it himself. I'm too burned out from the run of the mill cooking during the week to go crazy in the kitchen on the weekend. But he's a good cook, and usually does Thai or Indian. Yum!
