Depressed....

Yes, this is how I'm feeling....blue. It's been such a crappy weekend. (With the exception of Friday night). I don't usually get upset, and I'm not quite sure why I am so upset about our bathroom. It's so frustrating when you try to keep a house neat and tidy and well-kept, and then something like this happens. I realize that this problem must have been going on at least 2 years before we moved in, but it's still frustrating. Dh works so hard during the week, and now he has this project that has to be finished. I can't do anything to help besides clean-up, which I will gladly do. I need to look at the bigger picture. I suppose I should be glad that I have a home to have problems with, when there are so many that don't have homes. And, I should be glad that dh works, even if the days are long, for there are so many without jobs. I really don't mean to complain, but sometimes you just have to vent. Okay....enough of that. Lets be happy, shall we? Oh, well, there was one cute thing that happened today. My youngest dd made her own journal. It really is sweet. Although, I wasn't allowed to read the entire entry, I got the jist of it. (Her link is over <~~~~~~~there.) If nothing else, I know I'm loved! And that is what makes it all worthwhile. :o)

That didn't even sound like complaining! LOL! You're too sweet! We've been "remodeling" for 3 years now (ARRGGHH!!) so I know how you feel! The first 2 -3 months we did 80% of it and it just sits since then until DFH has some free time (and then he's too tired!) UGH! I don't think it'll ever get finished!

My 1 bathroom, yes, I said 1, is in a state of disrepair at all times. I have half peeled wallpaper that I intended to steam off about a year ago. I have tiles that need to be fixed and reglued on. I have a bathtub that is NEVER clean and always seems to have a ring around it. Did I mention the mildew that seems to grow on a daily basis? Ugggh! For the smallest room in a house, it sure is the hardest to keep clean! Hang in there!!!

Sounds like you need to grab a cup of tea and say to yourself 25 times, "Life is good". That always helps to calm it down :-) Hugs Lanny

Sherry, it's hard to imagine you being blue. You're always so up and cheery and positive. I know you'll feel better soon. You have such a wonderful attitude about things and you're well on your way to putting this in perspective. Your daughter's new journal is adorable. Go give her a big hug. That will turn that frown upside down!!

Yes you are right you have to look at the bright side. if something major happened to you right now that bathroom stuff would be the last thing on your mind. Your daughter is as bubbly as you! And she writes better than I do!
